"This dessert's bitter," Youji complained, dropping his fork with a pout.

"And what do you want me to do about it?" Hissed a more than un-amused Kio, who had just spent hours preparing a special Tiramisu dessert for Soubi, the very same dessert that the Zero brats were ravaging at this very moment.

"Make another one?" The sea foam-haired youth suggested, leaning back in his chair.

"I didn't make it for you-" Kio started, glaring at the boy.

"We know," Another voice cut it, smoother than the other boy's. "You made it for Soubi!"

"I wouldn't give this to anyone I liked," Added Youji, perking his ears as he grinned at Natsuo.

"Well then it's good you're eating it," Kio spat, picking the dish of Tiramisu up off the dining table and over to the counter. He hovered over it, threatened by the two boys', eat-anything vibe.

"Kio's so mean!" Youji whined, pinning his ears back and looking up at Natsuo with mock-hurt.

The curly-haired boy laughed, hugging his sacrifice from behind the chair, smiling brightly. "It's all right Youji, I'm sure he's just worried that his cooking skills really are as bad as you say."

"They are," The other Zero said matter-o-factly, waving his tail about in the air. "It's really bitter and dry."

"How much sugar did you put in?" Natsuo asked the distraught Kio, his lips curled like a conniving fox.

"As much as the recipe said, one cup!" Kio defended, glancing over at the counter for an example. "This much!" He said, picking up the cup he had filled earlier, and shoving it in Youji's face.

"Why is there still sugar in it?" Youji asked, lapping his tongue in the white crystals.

"There is still sugar in there," Kio started angrily. "Because I haven't put it in yet!"

There was an awkward silence, the blonde suddenly paled, dropping the measuring cup of sugar onto the table with realization. The Zeros burst into laughter simultaneously, picking up the spilled sugar and tossing it about and onto Kio's hair, skipping throughout the house with amusement.

Kio could only stand in a stupor, simmering in his anger as the devious boys hammered about the house.

"I hate kids…"
