"I won't!"
Ein stared at Ledah with a serious and unwavering look. It was a look that told Ledah that his ex-partner would not leave him there to die.
"I won't leave you here to die."
"I won't die. Now go!"
Ein didn't budge. "Promise me then."
Ledah stared at Ein's determined blue eyes and laughed silently at the irony. In the past, he considered Ein to be weak and much too kind to be a Grim Angel. And yet, it was Ledah who was defeated and dying instead. Ein wasn't weak. He was kind, determined and he always followed his heart. At that moment, Ledah felt a sort of jealousy towards Ein.
Ledah didn't have a heart. He exchanged his emotions (his heart) for his diviner. Because of Hector's seal, Ledah was unable to feel. But at that moment, Ledah sincerely thought that he felt something.
He used what little strength he had and pushed himself up until his lips reached Ein's.
