"Hermione, if you don't take a break your going to start looking like Lupin." Harry said to Hermione, whose assignments and books were spread across the table.
"Yea except I'm not a werewolf." Hermione pointed out.
"Your starting to look like one." Ron said
Hermione looked up from her book. "I need to get my studying done."
"Will it kill you to take a break?" Ron asked.
"Yes, because if I take a break, I won't get my studying done, and if I don't study I fail the tests, if I fail the tests, my life will be completely over!" Hermione said.
Ron looked at Harry who shrugged. "We should let her study." Harry said.
Ron and Harry walked over to the other side of the common room. "Hogsmade is this weekend!" Ron said excitedly
Harry just nodded.
"Are you going to sneak to it again?" Ron asked quietly.
Harry shook his head. "I really should probably study." He said
"Come on Harry! You know you want to." Ron said.
"I know, but don't you think school work is more important?" Harry asked.
"No, and since when do you?" Ron asked.
Harry shrugged. "I don't know." He said.
Ron rolled his eyes. "Your turning into Hermione."
Hermione glanced up from her books. "Is that a bad thing?" She asked, eyebrows raised.
Ron was surprised she heard. "Uh- uh no." He said, a bit nervously.
Harry couldn't help but laugh.
"Its not funny." Ron said, this time quieter. "She's going to rip my head off!"
"And that's not funny?" Harry asked laughing.
Then suddenly they heard Hermione slam her book shut. "I totally forgot!" She yelled.
Everyone in the common room was looking at her.
"Come with me." Hermione said, pulling Ron and Harry out of the room.
"What's wrong, you lunatic?" Ron asked.
Hermione looked around, looking to see if anyone was around. Satisfied, she began to explain. "The full moon is in a week!" Hermione said.
"Ok. So?" Harry asked looking at her.
"Don't tell me you forgot about Professor's secret." She said.
"No I remember. It's just, what's it matter?" Harry asked.
"He's going to be a werewolf in a week." Hermione said.
"Yea we got that part." Said Ron.
Hermione sighed. "This means Snape will be teaching defense against the dark arts for awhile.
Ron let out a groan. "Honestly it's bad enough having to deal with him during potions."
"Why are you telling us this Hermione?" Harry asked, impatient where she was going with this.
"You guys might want to start studying." Hermione pointed out.
" Gross! I'll just stick to failing." Ron said, and walked off.
Sorry this chapter wasn't very interesting. But next time, I will get straight to the point of this fan fiction… Hopefully. Also a little author's note: I am well aware Harry, Ron and Hermione didn't know Lupin's secret while they were still in the middle of the school year. However, I just changed it up a little for this fan fiction. Also thanks to everyone who has read this chapter, and is still willing to read the next. I'm posting my next chapter to the story no matter what, because even I am curious where I am going with this story.
Happy reading.
