Bathroom Trouble

Have you ever realized how few books mention bathrooms in them? The average American spends seven years in the bathroom, a significant amount of time, and the author doesn't even bother to include the bathroom in it. Take Little Women, bathrooms aren't mentioned once! And Lord of the Rings, they spent a year, or more, on their quest. That's two weeks of bathroom time and there are nine people. The author speaks about continuing their journey day and night, how is that possible might I ask? Are they all constipated? Also there are other books he wrote that have no mention of the bathroom, The Hobbit and Salmarlion, to mention only a few.

Another set of books without bathrooms are Boxcar Children they spend like ten years in books and never once go to the bathroom, same with Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys. I have never seen a book with people in the bathroom, it just doesn't happen.

Why am I so obsessed with bathrooms? I was constipated the other day and took a book into the bathroom. No just kidding. The subject just came to me. I do want reviews on this, simply tell me of books you have or haven't read with bathrooms in them (not showers, baths, ect.) because I'm desperate to know if people even think about bathrooms any more.

I might seem like a hypocrite because I don't have bathrooms in my story but, hey I am an exception to everything. Haha.
