"You should just tell her already!" Rad said, leaning against the cashier counter. He examined the crisp, white envelope closely. "What did you even write in this?"

Ferdi's face turned slightly red. "It was just a confession letter! Nothing weird!" She bent over the counter, resting her hands in her hands and sighing. "She'll never like me back anyways. Why do I even bother?"

Rad looked disappointing. He would have loved to see Enid and Ferdi get together. He sighed and put the letter down on the counter. "Well you're gonna have to tell her eventually."

"I know..." Ferdi looked down. Just then, Enid walked through the door. Ferdi grew flustered and quickly escaped through the store's back door. Enid cocked an eyebrow. "What was that about." Rad shrugged and walked to the back of the store.

K.O. ran into the store smiling like usual. "Hey Enid! Did you enjoy your lunch break?"

She nodded.

"Have you seen Ferdi anywhere?" He asked. Enid shook her head while unlocking her phone and scrolling through her music playlists. K.O. nodded and ran to the back to look for Rad. Enid watched him run, then moved her eyes back to her phone. She glanced at the counter and noticed the white envelope sitting there. She put her phone down and picked it up, turning it around to see who it was for.

Enid

She looked confused. Who could have written her out of all people a letter? She tore it open and took out the piece of notebook paper that was hidden inside of it. She scanned over the paper, reading it thoroughly.

Dear Enid,

I have always loved you since the day we met. I know you barely know me but I know you well. God... That sounded creepy. Well anyways, I love you and I hope you feel the same way. You most likely will never see this anyways. I'll be too scared to give it to you.

Sincerely,

Ferdi

Enid stared in shock. She got up and yelled, "RAD! COVER FOR ME! I NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE!"

She heard Rad yell 'OK' back at her. Then, she left to go to Ferdi's shop.
