A/N; This is basicly a very Syaoran centric fic about his thoughts on recent events and stuff, I hope you like it (no flames please) though constructive criticism is most welcome! Spoilers for recent chapters!!
Disclaimer; I admit I don't own them, so don't sue me!
Syaoran examined his face in the mirror with a troubled expression printed on his features. He pressed his face close to the reflective peice of glass and stared deeply into his own amber eyes, as though searching for a hidden answer written within them.
He felt alone for some reason. Although he knew that he was surrounded by companions he still couldn't help but feel alone.
He felt a longing for the same acceptence and freindship that his clone had been given among these people. Though for some reason they treated him like a stranger. Why was that? He and the other Syaoran shared the same face and had shared the same personality until the recent tragedies. He glared harder at his own reflection, as though blaming it for his lonelyness.
As he stared deeper into his eyes a thought hit him, and a wave of sad emotion flowed over him like a cold ocean wave. He wondered were the other Syaoran was now, the one that these people had really cared for. He wondered if the other Syaoran, even without any basic emotion or free will; ever wondered about himself and looked deep into his own different coloured eyes with a need for answers.
'Of course not' Syaoran told himself 'he doesnt have feelings, its impossible' but somehow Syaoran still wasn't convinced.
Suddenly a soft tapping shook Syaoran from his musings, with a starteled expression he turned toward the door.
"Syaoran-kun?" came a voice from the other side "dinner's ready Syaoran-kun"
Syaoran walked quietly over to the door. With a small sigh he opened it to reveal Fai, who was giving him a small worried smile. Syaoran just looked at him with a bewildered look on his face.
"It's alright Fai-san, I'm not hungrey" Syaoran could tell by the look in Fai's gentle blue eye that he knew he was lying.
"Are you alright Syaoran-kun?" asked Fai
"Yes, yes I'm fine" said Syaoran quickley "I'm just a little tired"
Fai nodded and turned to head down the hall as Syaoran softly shut the door behind him. As he turned back to the bedroom mirror. And as he continued to search his eyes for answers, for a split second he found the amber and blue eyes of his clone staring back at him...
