Title: Growing Pains
Challenge Word: Belly.
Players: All of the wonderful drabble writers in this challenge are listed on Enkidu07's profile! Feel free to join in the weekly drabble challenge through Enkidu07.

Note: I have joined once again! I actually wrote this just now. I sat down after returning from the store and I saw all of the drabbles in my inbox and just created something in my head last minute. I have to say I'm proud of myself. I find this longer-than-normal drabble incredibly cute. I couldn't box myself in 100 words, so I just went wild. It makes up for the drabbles I missed. xD Enjoy!

Sam was doing a bad thing. He was out with some kids from town he sort of knew from school, staring down at shimmering pool water from eighteen feet up. The bad part was that his dad and brother didn't know. They were busy "working."

It happened every so often. Dean would go as Dad's backup and Sam would stay home and study like a good little brother. Except in his turning from thirteen to fourteen, he'd picked up a bit of a devious streak, and Sam recognized this as the start of putting his rebellious thoughts into actions.

He was assessing which way he wanted to approach the water when his not-so-much-a-friend friend pushed him right off the diving board, screaming, "Today, junior!"

He saw the water rushing toward him, or well, the other way around. But still, the fact of the matter was that he was about to be in a lot of pain. The only thing he could think of before hitting was that he was thankful he'd kept his boxers on.

The smack of his belly hitting the water first seared him all over, followed by the white-hot numbness that exploded through his face.

Dean might not have been there, but Sam still heard his laughter when he surfaced.

Thanks for reading! And so sorry to the people I know that are in the challenge. If I haven't read your drabbles yet, I apologize. I've been working like crazy because of the Holidays and have had barely any time for recreational activities, lol. I will get to you though! Much love!
