1. Chapter 1

Hello and welcome to Morningpool's Prophecy times two! It is now called Morningpool's Story, because Prophecy has been used in Bluestar's Prophecy! I will be drawing the cover for this story some day so look forward to that! Now onto the Allegences. Btw OC senders, more I do at the end! Finally, I'm not doing what they look like, you guys send in pelt colours so I can copy and paste (lazy) and ad them! Just a competition! Dont do the ones that have descriptions already though. More at the bottom of page! FINALLY, SwampClan is now PineClan. FINALLY, the gender is already on the cats so no need to add that.

Prologue

The leaves fell softly to the ground and Russetstar lay in his nest. He had decorated it with red leaves that crackled every time he moved. The moon hung in the sky, its crescent form nearly at the center of the starry night. All around him, warriors were snoring. But Russetstar couldn't sleep. His mate, Lightgaze was knitting and her muffled screeches echoed around the hollow. Shinepaw poked her head in, must as Russetstar was nearly asleep.

"Lightgaze wants you." She announced importantly. But there was worry in her amber eyes.

"Is she okay?" The russet leader jumped to his paws.

Shinepaw said nothing, just raced down to the nursery, Russetstar racing after her.

Lightgaze was at the far end of the nursery. The part where moonlight always shone through tiny shafts. Beside her, lay three kits. One was ginger and white, one pure black, and one an unusual nearly blueish grey.

"I thought you might like to name the,." The white queen's sides were heaving with the effort to keep talking.

"Maybe Bluekit for that one?" Meowed Russetstar uncertainly.

Lightgaze broke into a purr, "That sounds great!"

"Look how that one has fur that shines like the sunrise. Maybe Morningkit for the ginger and white."

Lightgaze nodded, "And Darkkit for the large black one." Then she gave a cough. Russetstar jumped back, surprised.

"Don't be afraid." Rasped Lightgaze, in between coughs. "Death is nothing to be afraid of."

"You aren't dying." Persisted Russetstar.

"I'm tired, I can't do this much longer. Goodbye Russetstar." Her milky blue eyes closed for the last time.

"Lightgaze, no!" Yowled Russetstar, not caring if he woke the whole clan.

"It's up to StarClan." Meowed Stormwing, his face creased with sorrow.

Shinepaw hung at the back, letting out wimpers.

Lightgaze's raspy breathing slowed and her chest stopped rising.

"Lightgaze!" Russetstar's mew cracked, "Stay with me! We have three kits remember, they will become fine warriors, you will be beside me calling their names and-"

"Russetstar," Stonewing's gentle new interrupted him, "She's gone."
