hey guys, i'm a new writer, just wrote this chapter. hope you like it.
Katniss's POV
"No, I don't," I said to Johanna. She had just said to me that she knows I like Peeta. It was not true, he was my best friend. "I know you like Gale."
"No, I don't." I glared at her. "Okay, fine, I do. But, I know you like Peeta, even if you won't admit," she replied. Peeta is my best friend; it would be weird if I liked him. He's like a brother to me.
"Well, I have to get to practice. See you later," I said to Johanna before I walked away. I walked down the hall and to the door to go outside. Peeta had basketball practice in the same area I had track practice. Everyday, after practice, we go out for frozen yogurt at Go Go Yo.
"Hey Coach, sorry I'm late." "It's ok, just get to running laps, we have a meet this Sunday, she said" "Awesome, thanks coach." I was on my 3rd lap when Peeta saw me and ran up to me dribbling a basketball. "So ready to go to Go Go Yo, he said happily." "Yeah I guess so, just let me finish this lap and we will go, ok, I said" "Alright, beat you there, he said as he speed up past me." Of course I always beat him, he really wasn't that fast as me, but that didn't stop our friendship.
When we walked through the door of Go Go Yo, I saw Gale and Madge and Annie and Finnick and we just saw Johanna getting her fro yo. As we went to the section where the yogurt was, I always got vanilla and Peeta always got cotton candy. I thought it was disgusting, but he seemed to think it was pretty good. We got our toppings, I got Reeses pieces and Peeta gets gummy worms, again disgusting. We sat down with our friends and we ate are fro yo and then we left.
Peeta's POV
"Hey, Peeta, Finnick says to me, I know you like Katniss, he said happily" "Whhhhaaaaaat!, no I don't, I said all defensibly." "Peeta, stop all these lies, you like her, he said" "Finnick, I don't like her like that, I like her as a friend." "Anyway it would weird if we started dating anyway, I said." "Peeta, you do know that you just admitted that you do like her, right?" Finnick said with a smile. "Opps, so what, maybe I do like her, but there is no way that she will like me back, you know how stubborn she is, I said sadly" "I don't know, Peeta, maybe I will get Annie to talk to her about to see if she likes you or not, Finnick said." "Oh, thanks Finnick, you are a great friend, I said with a smile" It turns out I do like her and I can't wait for the news.
