AN: Amanda and Simon drabble. I know. I can't help it. This has been sitting around for a while and now, and now behold! AKA I've finally decided to post it.

Summary: Sarah Christie keeps her love life uncomplicated. Simon Lloyd wishes he could do the same.

Set: 214, The Samaritan Kind

Uncomplicated.

"I just wanted things to stay uncomplicated." The doctor they're representing states wearily. Simon glances at the woman sitting beside him, back to the notes in front of him, and back to his friend again. He knows what that feels like. He took this job so that he could work more regular hours for the sake of his wife; yet in attempting to do something for his wife, he's stumbled upon her - the amazing and captivating, but most of all complicating woman beside him.

They clicked before they'd even spoken, worked seamlessly together; had an inexplicable bond that something in him said was once in a lifetime.

He'd wanted a new job. He'd wanted to be home with his wife more. He wanted what he'd always known – his uncomplicated relationship with his wife, but he'd stumbled into much more than he'd bargained for; something much better:

An overly-complicated relationship with Amanda McKay that he wouldn't trade for anything in the world.
