Normally, he wasn't one to admit to it, but he knew deep within him that it was his one true love sitting there, just waiting for him. If truth be told, she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, and he couldn't tear his eyes off her.
He couldn't resist the temptation any longer. Lifting a hand, he slowly caressed her, revelling in every curve and line. It was almost as if she had been crafted by the Gods themselves, she was so perfect.
He traced his fingers over a long scar down her side, evidence of an accident long ago. While many would call it ugly and marring, to him it added to her beauty. It made her unique, and that was what he loved most. He too was different, the oddball of his family, his bright red hair setting him apart from the blonds and browns of his siblings, but he didn't mind in the slightest. After all there was no point in fitting in when you could stand apart instead.
He leaned in closer, resting his head against her. She was so unlike her sisters, almost forgotten at times, but what she lacked in presence she made up for in character, and that made her even more irresistible. He didn't care what anybody else said, it was obvious they were meant to be.
He moved his hand down further, her cool skin making his fingers tingle. He wanted to stay here forever, to stay by her side 24/7, to protect her from the dangers that the big wide world outside could throw at her. To lose her would tear him apart and that was something that he never ever wanted to happen. But for now, all he wanted to do was...
"Er, Gords, why are you stroking Four like that?"
Dammit! So much for being alone...
A/N: Come on, what did you expect from me? You should know me by now, I don't do mushy stuff! Anyway, happy Valentines day! I love you all!
