"So glad you could make it." Zuko said, sounding relieved as he led Aang, Katara, Sokka, Suki, and Toph down the corridors of the Fire Nation Palace. "I honestly don't know what's wrong with her, and she's got Mai and I worried. Even though she's the way she is, the people love her a lot. They've even made a ballad about her..." He led them into a child's room, where a small girl sat with Mai on the bed. The girl looked up at the team, staring at them emotionlessly before staring at the carpet of ground.

Mai stood up, walking to the group. She also looked emotionless, but it was a softer look with worry hidden in her eyes. "I'm extremely worried about her. Ever since she was five, when we took her to explore the forest, she's barely talked, and she talks to the air like something's there when we can't see anything. General Iroh says he can spirits where she talks, but we can't see anything.."

"Spirits only reveal themselves to those they want to see them, like Aang and General Iroh, and apparently your daughter,..." Katara answered. "Her name?"

"Lupa. She was born under the constellation of a wolf."

"Tell me of the Spirit World."

Everyone at the table turned to Lupa. She sat emotionless. Her golden eyes seemed to glow with fire in her stare, like the ballad the people of the Fire Nation had made. Lupa spoke again.

"Rava, tell me of the Spirit World." she repeated, staring at Aang. "People and spirits can live in peace, right? What does the Spirit World look like?"

"Who's Rava...?" Sokka whispered to Zuko, who shrugged.

Lupa immediately turned her head to Zuko and Sokka. "Rava is the Spirit of Light, who resides in the Avatar's spirit. Her opposite is Vatuu, the Spirit of Chaos. They were locked in immortal combat until the first Avatar separated them by accident. Rava then fused with the first Avatar and imprisoned Vatuu in the Tree of Time."

"Where he will remain until ten thousand years have passed, and at the next Harmonix Convergence, if the two portals are open, he will escape." Aang finished solemnly, to which Lupa nodded. "But as for what the Spirit World looks like..."

Aang woke to soft footsteps. Slowly, he opened his bedroom door and peeked his head out. Lupa was walking down the hall, the edge of her long red nightgown trailing behind her like a waterfall. She gazed at the small flame she held in her cupped hands. She stopped, and without looking behind her, spoke.

"You should be asleep, Rava. Or do you wish to come with me to see the spirits?"

Aang's eyes widened. "See,... the spirits?"

Lupa turned around and faced him. "The wolf spirit, Urufu waits for me. You are the Bridge between the two worlds, she wishes to meet you. Will you come?"

Yeah, so this is a preview for an Avatar: The Last Airbender and Avatar: The Legend of Korra fanfiction. I'm not sure if I'm going to really do this or not, I'll post a notice whether I will do it or not. And if not, someone can adopt it I suppose. As my friend Italy says, 'Asta la pasta!'
