Sonny's POV
I can't believe he just walked out on me. Well rolled out on me. I gathered my things and leaving Grady and Nico crying over slushies. Literally crying over slushie. When I walked out of the doors of the Archade I saw Chad leaning on the wall.
"What are you still doing here?" I questioned while I walked over to him.
"I drove you remember?"
"Oh right."
He led to his car and the whole ride home was very quiet and so tense you could cut it with a knife. It also was incredibly slow, a 15 minute ride actually felt like it was an hour but soon as we got to my apartment.
"Well thank you Chad, it was sure was an interesting night."
"Yeah it was."
I turned to get out of the car but Chad grabbed my arm and soon I felt his lips on mine. I felt fireworks so strong that I'm surpised it didn't create a fire in the car. His lips were so soft and warm on mine but all too soon we parted.
"Sonny will you go out with me... like on a real date?"
"Of course Chad. Pick me up tomorrow at 8."
"I'll see you tomorrow Sonshine."
"See you tomorrow Chaddy" I said before giving him one last peck and heading up to my apartment. There I was met by my mother.
"So honey how did your evening go?"
"It was perfect." I sighed before lying down on my bed in the pricacy of my room reflecting on the evening's events. I really can't wait for tomorrow, it's the first step in a hopefully long relationship. I definitely prefer Chad to James after that night.
