Everyone else was gone now, Light was the last one standing. Somehow she always knew she would be the last to die. After all these years, she welcomed death.
She thought about her parents. Light wished she could've spent more time with them. She would give everything just to see her mother and hear her father tell a stupid story just one more time.
She thought about everything she had done in those 1000 years. Saving the stupid planet countless times and fighting for centuries to finally get her well deserved peace. Sometimes she missed it, the thrills of fighting and the feeling of extreme power.
Serah and Snow finally got married after 5 years of being in this new world. They found a place and had a couple of children. They were adorable but Light would never admit that out loud. She visited them often and saw them grow into amazing little people. She was sure she was the proudest sister on earth.
Yeul and Noel moved away from France and did their own thing. Yeul became a painter. Light wasn't exactly sure what Noel did, but she knew that he was finally happy.
Vanille and Fang lived in a place that reminded them of home, Gran Pulse and lived long and happy lives there together.
Hope became a researcher and went all over the world, learning whatever he could about this brand new planet. He lived a long life and was highly respected by everyone. He changed the whole world into something better.
Sazh and his son lived somewhere quiet to finally just relax and be a normal family. Light visited them often too. Sazh was always very important to Light. She saw him as a father. She looked up to him.
She thought about Bhunivelze. She was sure he was alive and just sleeping, waiting to wake up and destroy this peace.
Light lay on her bed and looked around her bedroom. She saw her old swords hanging on the wall. She saw all the clothes her wore for battle. She saw the pictures of her and her family.
Light grabbed onto her necklace and looked out of the window. She saw a rose bush and smiled as she faded away from this world.
