Do you regret it?

A/N
Yeah, it's a little later than usual. I'm a busy man :)
I want to give another round of thanks to "Maerchen Freunde," "W.I.T.C.H fan in ut," and "Cappy-Chan."
They are names I see in reviews almost every time I write, and I feel that maybe I should say thanks again to show my appreciation. ^^
It would be the only time he would ever put in effort to wake up early.
On the morning that she would leave back to Suna.
They sat at the hill, watching the sun begin its rise.
"Even the sun rising looks different here to that in Suna."
"Maybe it's not that it looks different, but that it feels different," he replied.
The morning dew was still fresh on the grass, so they stood up as the early light came.
"When do you think you'll be back?" Shikamaru asked, still staring into the distance.
"When Gaara let's me I guess. Why can't you just come to Suna instead?"
He sighed. "If I could I would. I'm responsible for too many duties that require me to stay here."
She put her head on his shoulders. "Guess it's not just my fault we won't be seeing each other then, is it?"
He smiled. "No, but you've still got some of the blame."
Temari gave a small laugh.
They remained silent as they walked to the gate.
They were early, and apart from a couple of men on guard, the whole area belonged to Temari and Shikamaru.
They gave their goodbyes, and with a kiss she began her departure.
She had barely walked a hundred metres when he stopped her.
"What is it?" Temari asked.
"Do you regret it?"
"Regret what?"
"Being with me, it would be less troublesome for you if you were with a Suna man, and I understand that."
She smiled. "Do you regret it?"
He smiled back. "Of course not."
Temari gave him one final kiss, then started walking again.
"Good," she said. "Because I don't either."
End.
