Sorry it took a long time… I had school and tons of HWs and it's currently the last day of my break now. Although I wish that it would be much longer… But anyway…

Gone then Back
Ash was coming back and I was so excited. I had received a phone call from Jade, Ash's sister, earlier that he was coming back, I guessed Jade was more excited than I am because she called me at six o' clock in the morning.
What to wear? I wanted to be presentable to Ash tonight.
I opened my closet and looked at my clothes for a while…
Hmm… Should I wear jeans like I always do? Or a dress…?
Buzz… Buzz…
I picked up my phone and answered the call.
It was Jade.
"Hey." I greeted.
"Mare, I was wondering if you were having trouble of choosing what to wear tonight?" Jade said, voice sounding hopeful.
"Oh, yeah… About that…"
"I got you covered."
"You brought me clothes? Or we go shopping?" I asked, trying guess what she was thinking.
"Whatever you like, since it's you're date." She said.
"Date? How come you didn't tell me that a while ago?" I asked.
"I forgot." Jade said, "but that doesn't matter. Let's just go shopping. Go to my house in an hour, okay?"
"Sure." I shut my phone and grabbed a bit oversized neon pink shirt and a pair of leggings. I tied my brown hair into a messy ponytail, grabbed a pair of flats.
I went down to eat breakfast and went up again to my room and sat down on my bed.
I'm so nervous. What if I spoil our date?
I called Jade.
"Hey, Mare. What's up?" Jade said cheerfully.
"Nothing much, but can I come over now? I'm really nervous and I could really use some company."
"Sure. Where's Mark?" Jade asked.
"I mean like you accompany me and talk or something." I raised an eyebrow.
"Sure. Come over. Hold on a second." Jade excused herself.
"Hey, Rowan, Kestrel! Mare's coming over." I heard Jade shout.
"You can come over now."
"Okay, be there in five."
I shut my phone and went to Rowan, Kestrel, and Jade's house.

Jade drove me to where Ash was supposed to meet me.
I was so excited. I couldn't wait to see him again. It's been a year or more since I last saw him.
I stepped out of the car and closed the car door behind me. I walked up the hill and saw him.
"ASH!" I ran and hugged him.
"Hey, Mare. I missed you." Ash whispered.
"I missed you too." I smiled.
