Dear Mr. Potter,

I first read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone when I was 10 years old. Now, 10 years late, as your story comes to an end, I cry for the end of my childhood. Over these 10 years, I've rejoiced in you triumphs and mourned with you over the deaths of Cedric Diggory, Sirius Black, Albus Dumbledore, Hedwig the snowy owl, Mad-Eye Moody, Dobby the House-elf, Fred Weasley, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, Severus Snape, and Colin Creevey.

I've spent half of my life in this fandom and as it has been a huge part of my life, I'm not ready to say goodbye just yet. I will continue to return to the pages that tell your story. Your story has inspired me and it will continue to bring inspiration to millions of fan, including those who are new to the fandom.

Your story may be over but it continues to live within us all. As Jo said at the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiere, "Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home." No one could have said it better.

Love

Rhiannon E., 20, Ravenclaw
