Kenzie: Hi everyone! This fanfic was written because of a conversation between me and my friend Scarlet. I had said that if Shinichi ever kissed Kaito, or vice versa, it would be like making out with a mirror. She disagreed vehemently, and thus, the story was born. Oh, and if I made any major mistakes, keep in mind this story was written and published at 12:37 AM.

Ran's Discovery
Ran stood outside of Shinichi's room, her hand covering her mouth in horror. The noises issuing from within were moans and panting, but she couldn't think of who was inside with Shinichi. As far as she knew, she was the only girl that had a true, honest-to-goodness crush on him. After standing outside the door for a few more moments, she kicked the door down and stormed in. "What the hell is going on in here?!" she screamed, her eyes shut tight.
"Ran! L-listen, I can explain!" Shinichi attempted to calm her, but the girl simply wouldn't listen.
"No! You listen to me, Kudo Shinichi. I come over to your house to visit you, and I find you making out with some little tramp! I bet that girl doesn't know you half as well as I do."
"Hey, I am most certainly not a girl!" A new voice startled Ran into opening her eyes.
"Kaito? You were making out with Kaito?!" Her face began to heat up with embarrassment. "But… that's so gross. It's like you were kissing a mirror or something."
"No!" both boys yelled in a tizzy (A/N-lol, sorry, I had no good words). They looked at each other, then back at Ran. They began to attempt to convince Ran that kissing each other was not, in fact, like making out with a mirror of any kind. Or at least, that's what Shinichi was trying to do. Kaito was just mimicking everything Shinichi did, complete with voice imitation.
Finally, Shinichi glared at Kaito. "Would you stop that?" he said crossly.
Kaito grinned mischievously. "Stop what, Shinichi-kun?" he replied innocently. The two continued like this for a while, and as they were doing such, Ran was almost in tears from laughing too hard.
At long last, Ran finally stated, "Okay, I believe you. But have you guys ever even noticed how similar you look?"
"Not really, no," Shinichi replied, scratching the top of his head. Ran just shook her head and walked out of the room, giving up on any hope that Shinichi would notice facial similarities of any kind, as long as it included him somehow.
As Ran walked home, she sighed. 'I guess I was right about being the only girl that has a serious crush on him. Oh well, I should just be happy for the two. Besides, I bet there is another boy somewhere that would love to be with me.'
Kaito was watching her leave, making sure she didn't turn around. As soon as she was out of sight, he turned to Shinichi. "Now, where were we before we were so rudely interrupted?" he said with a smirk.
"Oh no, we are keeping our pants on! This is one jewel you will have to wait to get!" Shinichi yelled as his boyfriend began to close the space between them. Kaito smirked once more, then leaned in for a kiss.
