Survivor
Their last concert. Their best concert. And only one spectator would remember it.
Though Tsubasa was a warrior. She didn't think too much about things like that. Kanade would be sad though. Kanade sung her heart out so people would remember those songs, remember her once the Linker stole away her life or her swan song her soul…
They would still remember the records, and the silent echo on stage when Tsubasa sung alone, but they wouldn't remember that final concert. They wouldn't have even heard Kanade's final song…
Except that one girl who survived the onslaught of the Noise. The girl Kanade had saved.
And who knew if she'd remember as well. She'd survived but she'd still been near death when they'd taken her. Her eyes had been blank – could they see? Could her ears here? Or, like Kanade, had those senses been sinking in a dark ocean, slowly drowning, slowly dying…
And then Tsubasa would be the only one to remember, because she'd been the only one alive to bear witness to it all.
