Edge of the World
They stood on the edge of the world.
It was ironic how they'd never considered what was beyond it. Or convenient, since that meant they never realised the truth. And maybe they'd have stayed ignorant if it wasn't for Nogi Sonoko and her tale.
She stood on the edge of the world, and now she took a closer look and found the truth. Beyond the edge. The true word. What they'd fought against. What would never end. What pawns they'd become, thinking they were saving the world when they only went in circles and damned themselves.
If that edge was no longer there…
They wouldn't be able to stand on that lying edge again. Because there would be no edge. And no beyond.
