They were childhood friends. Due to some issues, they were separated. A few years from now, they meet once again to find out that they are engaged. But with a few twists: Kikyo is Inuyasha's girlfriend and Kagome has secret identities. What will happen?
Chapter One: Childhood Memories
"Inuyasha, this is Kagome."
That was the first thing he heard when his mother introduced them.
She smiled sweetly at him, and his little 7 year old heart started beating faster.
She had a very beautiful smile, and she was the first girl to ever make him feel this way. She was wearing a light blue sundress, and her hair was in two little neat pigtails. She was looking at him curiously and wondering why he was staring for so long.
He walked away from his mother and towards the little girl.
"Hi Kagome! I'm Inuyasha! Want to go play?"
Kagome looked at him and smiled.
This was the first time a boy ever let her play together with them. She was always excluded because they thought girls could not play.
Inuyasha looked very cute in his little red T-shirt and black shorts. He had a ball in his hand and was asking her if she wanted to go play!
"Sure! Let's go over there."
She pointed to the sandbox, and the two left their parents and ventured off to the sandbox.
Meanwhile, the two mothers sat down on the bench supervising them.
"Inuyasha is growing up very fast. He looks so handsome just like InuTaisho."
"Yes he is. Kagome looks just as beautiful as her mother. Beautiful inside and out."
Kaori and Izayoi began speaking to each other and catching up on times they had missed.
"They look like they're having fun. I'm glad they got off to a good start. I was worried that Inuyasha would bully little Kagome!"
"No, Inuyasha wouldn't behave that way! Your son is very darling, and I really am happy that someday we will be related as in-laws."
Izayoi and Kaori smiled and giggled at each other.
Back in their high school life, they both made a promise that if one of them had a son, and the other a daughter, they would marry off their daughter and son.
Inuyasha had never met a girl that was like Kagome.
She didn't treat him funny and played with him so naturally.
He was in deep thought when Kagome was trying to get his attention.
"Inuyasha! Inuyasha! INUYASHA!"
"Huh?! What? Oh sorry, was spacing off there, hehe."
"Let's go over there and play tag!"
"Okay, but you have to be careful!"
The little 7-year old grabbed Inuyasha's hand and they began running to the location to play the game.
Inuyasha was "it", and Kagome laughed at she began to run away to avoid being tagged.
Right when she was running, one of her shoelaces was untied. She stepped on them and tripped and her knee hit the ground. Inuyasha saw what happened, and quickly tried to comfort her cries.
"It hurts! It's bleeding! I want my mommy!"
"Shhhh .. Kags. It's going to be okay!"
Inuyasha bent over and examined her bleeding knee. He began to lick her knee to clean it.
"Hey stop. That tickles!"
She began to giggle and the pain didn't feel so bad anymore. Inuyasha smiled as he saw her beautiful smile again. She began a series of laughs.
"What's so funny?"
"Haha, you look so funny!"
"Wha"
Before he could even finish his sentence, she planted an innocent kiss on his cheek. He turned very red and looked away. Kagome began giggling.
"Inuyasha?"
"Yes Kagome?"
"Can I be your bride one day?"
