A/N: Written for Yuki Yuna is a Bingo (flash), #134 – Karin/Yuna.

Fighting Vertixes and Being Friends with Yuna

They were all crazy. And Yuna was the craziest of them all.

It was her idea, after all, to get Karin to join the Hero Club. And to drag her to their club meetings, invite her to activities and give her actual roles so that she'll be burdening the others if she doesn't. And worse, they have to be novel, fun things. She's a warrior! She doesn't have time for fun!

Except she does and that's not the problem anyway. The problem is how preppy they are, and Yuna most of all. How they go about smiling and calling themselves heroes while finding cats homes and doing skits for little kids as if they don't fight Vertixes every other day in the other world, like they're not going to have to fight Vertixes again.

That was why Karin was here, why she existed. To fight the Vertixes. The others were just wasting their time with their little club.

And Yuna was just wasting her time when she grabbed her hand and dragged her to a club meeting, when she gave her a script and a list of stuff to bring on Sunday, when she saved her number on her phone just in case she ever wanted to talk…

She was here to fight the Vertixes, and nothing more.

And yet Yuna kept on trying. The others Kept on trying, Yuna most of all. It was stupid. And crazy. They shouldn't care and Karin didn't care either.

But…she sort of wanted Yuna to keep on caring. And that was crazy too, but…surely she was allowed a little craziness? Just look at what the others got away with.

So long as they brought the Vertixes down, of course.
