It's a really hot day today. I'm looking up and all I can see is a cloudless and light blue sky. I'm fastening my pace. My white skin is really sensitive and I get sunburns really easily. My black, long hair is also no help in this heat, even though I put it up into a pony tail. Luckily I thought of wearing something lighter today and decided to wear a light blue sleeveless dress which stops over my knees. I'm going towards a specific guild called "Fairy Tail". Today is finally the day I'm going to sign in and be an official member of this guild. My dream is coming true and I couldn't be happier. I reach the building and suddenly it hits me. This is really happening. This is not the dream I have had since I was a child. This is going to be my home, my family and everything I've ever dreamt of. Like this, daydreaming, I walk in.
As I walk into the guild a chair is flying into my direction. Fortunately I have quick reflexes and can avoid the object barely by jumping up. Not even a second later the wooden chair hits the wall and breaks into little tiny pieces. Sighing of relief I observe what is happening right before me. A handful of people is fighting in the middle of the room while others are staying in a circle around them, cheering them on. Between the people fighting is a pink haired boy and a guy who is completely naked. Embarrassed I look away and see a girl with white long hair and a pink dress standing behind the counter. She's smiling and seems not bothered by the scene. A bit confused I go to her.
"Hello, I'm Keiko Meadow . I'm sorry, but what is happening here exactly?", I ask the girl.
"Oh, hello there. Nice to meet you, I'm Mirajane Strauss. Don't worry. This is happening all the time..." She says with a sigh and a tired look on her face. "This will end s... Oh, it actually happens right now."
I turn around and see a women in armor standing with crossed arms in front of the now unconscious looking guys laying on the floor.
"So,.. " starts Mirajane to say "Which reason brought you here?"
I turn into her direction again
"Well... I... actually I wanted to..." I pause, not sure if I still want to be here. I didn't expect this to happen. This isn't how I imagined this place to be. I dreamt of this day for so long and now I'm not sure. What if this is not the place I imagined it to be? What if it's not like my dreams and my hopes? I don't know. I try to not think about my sudden doubts and go on with what I wanted to say.
"I want to become an official member of Fairy Tail" I say with a shaky voice.
Mirajane smiles. "If it is like that, then I welcome you to our guild. Master? Could you come for a second? We have a new member!" She calls.
A little, old man is jumping from a balcony in the room on the chair besides me. He was watching the fight of these guys a second ago, too.
"You want to join Fairy Tail?" He asks while staring at me.
"Yes, It was always my dream" I stutter
"Which kind of magic do you use?"
"You can call it Nature Magic, I guess"
"Good. Where do you want to have your mark?"
"Ehm... I would like to have it on my right wrist" I answer him
"Okay" He finally cracks a big smile. "Then I welcome you to our guild!" He says and gives me the Fairy Tail Mark on the said spot.
