Many say Konoha is a peaceful place, and nobody would harm any other citizens.
If you lived in Konoha, you would know the truth.
Naruto Uzumaki, jinchuuriki of The Kyuubi no Kitsune, Kurama, is a good child, but that is not how the villagers see him.
Today, was a special day. It was his birthday, but also known as the 'Kyuubi day.' On that day, Naruto can never go into the town, because everyone is extra angry.
Around 6:00 to 11:30 PM, the villagers go on 'Fox hunts' and search for Naruto. And sadly for Naruto, on these days the apartment's landowners shut off his power to stop him from knowing that.
Naruto could tell it was that time, because he could see people marching towards his house with pitchforks and torches.
Naruto tried hiding under his bed, hoping he could remain unnoticed. Then he heard a muffled sound: "Fi~~r ~~le! F~~~ re Ba~~~ Ju~~u!"
With that a huge fireball blew down his door, but he could careless right now. He hid hoping they wouldn't see him.
Someone said "The demon isn't here! Let's go look somewhere else!" Naruto mentally danced, but remained quiet for now.
"We should place a trap for him! Fix the door so the demon won't know!"
"Yes! That DEMON will die!"
"Good idea!"
Naruto was happy he would know they had traps up. After they fixed the door, and set up the traps they laughed.
Then they heard some keys unlocking the door, so they hid and watched the door. Naruto mentally yelled not to come in, while the villagers snickered.
The door opened to reveal Hiruzen walking in. Someone cursed and jumped out and said "Wait! Lord third! Don't step anymor-"
Hiruzen was about to kick them out when he stepped on a trap. Then fire surrounded the third, and they opened their mouths in shock.
"W-w-w-w-we j-j-just k-k-killed lord t-t-third.." one said. The flames died down and they saw an angry hokage glaring at them behind a water shield.
"Anbu." the third said.
"3 Anbu appeared next to the hokage. "Yes lord?" they asked.
"Search this room, and arrest all the villagers that are in here." Hiruzen said.
"WHAT! We were going to kill the demon! WHY WOULD YOU LET THE DEMON LIVE!?" one yelled.
"He is NOT a DEMON! HE IS THE SON OF THE FOURTH!" Everyone in the room except the anbu and sarutobi gasped.
Then a anbu picked Naruto up from under the bed, causing him to yelp. Hiruzen immediately looked and saw the boy, and cursed himself for not checking for a chakra signature before he said that.
One of the villagers charged at Naruto, but the Anbu who was holding Naruto hit the person unconscious.
After many more people were arrested, the anbu left leaving only Naruto and Hiruzen.
"Is it true gramps?" Naruto asked sadly. "Yes it is, Naruto." Sarutobi said.
"Well then… I AM GONNA BE HOKAGE! BUT BETTER THAN MY DAD!" Naruto yelled.
The third flinched. He was not expecting such a positive reaction. But he was happy with that. "I bet you will!"
