Three months of summer sun

It's the end of summer vacation and I haven't seen Gerard in three months. He's been away on a camping trip with his family and now it's time for school again.

"Fuck!" I look down at my watch. "I'm late!" I run downstairs, grab my lunch and run outside. By the time I get there the bus is already half way down the block. I curse under my breath and start the long trip to school on foot. I get there as the bell rings, I was hoping to see gee before class, I bet he has loads of complaining to do about how "nature is out to get hum", but I guess sending notes in class will do. I step into history and look up to where my Boyfriend usually sits, and sure as hell there he is. His bright red hair had grown a lot longer since the last time I had seen him but the hair only makes him look wilder, I like wild. He starts waving frantically and I lift my hand slightly, just to make him stop. He rushes down the corridor of desks up to me, his arms open wide and a huge grin on his face. "Hey Gee." I say returning the hug, once again having to get used to the stares. We walk back to our desks, the teacher starts his lesson and the ranting begins.

The ranting, in fact, does not stop until at least a good hour after school has ended. Gerard cant help but complain about everything outdoorsy; the sun, the grass, the loss of signal. Even the sun isn't free of his scorn. We make our way back to my house and up into my room, my mom was working late so we just sat and talked .His voice is soft and smooth and I love listening to him talk, and watching his lips move with each word. "Are you listening to me?" Gerard asks me, slight annoyance in his voice. I quickly nod and his voice goes calm again. "I made you something! Hold on..." Gerard digs around in his bag, sounding his triumph when he finally finds it. He hands me a charcoal drawing of us. "I would have drawn it in pencil but they took all my art supplies away after the tenth one of you..." He tips a file over, spilling pictures of me all over the floor. I start blushing and Gerard notices. He leans over and kisses me stopping my words before they could escape my mouth. His lips are unbelievably soft. Gerard lifts a hand up to my cheek, sliding his other hand up my band-T. His cold touch sends a shiver down my spine. Gerard, obviously noticing, slides closer. My hands fumble around his neck as I fall down onto my back. I can smell Gerard's hair now, apple shampoo; his breath is warm against my face. He suddenly stops and he sits up then heads over to my dresser. My red haired lover comes back seconds later holding a small blue bottle in his hand. I give a smirk as the fun begins.
