"So, where to now?" Amy asked, her hands resting on the console of the TARDIS. The Doctor glanced at her quickly, grinned, then went back to doing whatever it was he was doing to some machine he had found on their last trip.
"Where ever you like! You know, I never have been to the Lost Moon of Poosh... We could go there!" He spoke like a child, still with the goofy grin plastered onto his face. "Rory, what do you think?"
Rory opened his mouth to speak, but furrowed his eyebrows as he realised he didn't know of any planets they could go to.
"Ah!" The Doctor used a mallet to hammer the small machine he was working on once and spun around to face Amy and her husband.
"What is that, Doctor?" She asked, gesturing.
"Well, it's a-" The Doctor didn't have time to answer before the TARDIS gave a loud noise, as if it were screaming. The Time Lord ran to the small screen and pushed a few buttons, seemingly randomly, his old eyes darting back and forth.
"What was that?" Rory asked, coming closer to the Doctor.
"No... no, no." The Doctor repeated over and over, tapping away on the strange keyboard beneath the screen.
"Doctor, what's going on?" Amy said, almost shouting as the TARDIS screamed again.
This time, when the TARDIS screamed, the Doctor put his hands to his head and closed his eyes tightly, as if it were hurting him too, whatever "it" was.
"Doctor!" Amy rushed to the Doctor's side and held his shoulders, scared for her friend. The Doctor couldn't help but let out a yelp as he felt the pain his ship was feeling.
"I don't know... I don't know what's happening..." He opened his eyes and took his hands away from his head and looked at a loss. Whatever it was, it was something definitely bad.
"It's... not something to do with that machine thing you were fixing, was it?" Rory stood awkwardly beside Amy, not knowing what to do or how to help. The Doctor shook his head and let out a puff of air.
"I don't know." He said simply and the TARDIS gave a huge jolt and one last scream that sent all three to the floor.
