Hi! Going to be a series of alphabet oneshots all based around Puckabrina!

Apples

Apples were perfect. Unlike him. Unlike her. Neither of them were perfect. He would have hated it if she were perfect. She would have hated it if he were perfect. Win-win situation.

There was no way no way to describe how incredible an apple was, in all its perfection. The rosy, red, unbroken skin that was so different from their own, the girl's too pale and scarred to bear any resemblance, and the boy's too tanned and dirty. But there were imperfect. And they didn't really mind.

The next perfection in an apple is the stem, or stalk, as some people call it. It is the beginning of the whole apple, the part that joins the whole thing together, and makes it beautiful. It's not that the stem itself is particularly pleasing to look at, but it pulls everything together.

They liked to think that there was something of a similar force up in the sky holding them together, which would have made them similarly perfect. But when they lost it a few times, and ended up with hatred instead of love, that is when they knew that they were truly as imperfect as they originally thought. And they didn't really mind.

The last perfection in an apple is the core. The part that most people throw away, and no one really notices. But without it, the apple wouldn't exist in the first place, and lots of people overlook that. The seeds inside the core make more apples, if thrown into the garden, each one a clone of the first. They now knew that, although when they had been younger they had lots of faults as a couple, those just helped them become perfect together. And they were very happy with that.
