Chapter one: Shit hits the fan
Prologue
Pant pant.
The girls breath came fast as she sprinted down the unseen path that lead away from Mossdeep City; her heavy military boots thumping loudly of the boggy ground. Her blonde hair with streaks of lavender and crimson; shimmered in the dyeing sun. As her grey eyes glowed; grim with worry and her faced scared by an unseen horror, as she raced down the game trail, thick underbrush slicing her bare arms. An empty broken down cabin met her at the end of the trail deep in the boggy forest.
"Brodie! Quick! Run!" she breathlessly cried; shooting thru the slanted door. There was no answer; the house was silent. The only noise emanating from the panting girl; who stood her dark jeans were torn as was her black t-shirt and sleeveless army style jacket. She stood there a moment as if unsure what to do. "Brodie…" this time she said it more quietly. She was sure there was life in the house after all she could hear shallow breathing. This time she was answered; a soft weak voice ordered pitifully.
"Rage…get out…run….." Brodie's voice was weak but stern. Rage turned to see the purple and orange haired mad blood trickling down his neck from the sharp blade prodding his throat; a crimson haired woman crouched above him. Rage knew who the woman was. Shelly. Her insane mother. The one who killed her biological father Tabitha, before she was born. The one who kill everyone in Team Magma except Brodie who was out on a vacation.
"Why hello sweetie…" Shelly said sweetly. " See.. I told you I knew my brat was here…" Shelly hissed in his ear adding more pressure to the knife, already perched over Brodie's wind pipe. Rages stomach twisted; she thought she was going to throw up. She hated her mother's voice. She hated her mothers Team, and the experiments her mothers Team had done to her. That's why she ran away…to escape the horrors of Team Aqua. Now her mother was here is to reclaim her and bring her back down to hell. Rage swallowed thickly, and forced herself to speak to the crimson haired deamon.
