p class="p1"span class="s1"Kylo sat watching as Rey stared blankly at the small fire she'd made. She had been sitting there for five minutes now, she never moved and never spoke. Finally, Kylo breached the silence, "What happened?" He asked quietly, Rey continued starring at the fire, she shook her head slowly and her voice broke as she murmured, "I hardly know." Rey closed her eyes and inhaled deeply " I was pulled into a dark hole." Rey briefly looked at Kylo, his calm, nonjudgmental expression was a sharp contrast to Master Skywalker's fearful and condemning one. Kylo nodded for her to proceed. As Rey told Kylo everything about her experience in the cave she periodically glanced at him; trying to gage his reaction. Kylo never interrupted her and never criticized her actions or motives. He just sat there and listened, "I've never felt so alone." Rey whispered as a tear ran down her cheek. "You're not alone." Kylo assured her, Rey turned her face from the fire to Kylo's eyes and saw the lonely boy that was Ben Solo. "Neither are you," she replied. In an effort to solidify her words she reached out her hand to him, palm up. Kylo stared at her hand for a second then gradually pulled off his glove and extended his hand to her, palm down. Their eyes locked on each other they inched closer and closer together until the very tips of their fingers touched./span/p
