One Week Since We Saw Hamtaro
Author's note: This is a parody of the song "One Week" by E. Robertson from "Barenaked Ladies" and the song "Jerry Springer" by Al "Weird Al" Yankovic. The reason why I say that this is a parody of both songs is because "Jerry Springer" is a parody of "One Week." Although this song parody draws mainly from the song "Jerry Springer," it does have a little bit of "One Week" in it. Also, for those of you who had noticed, I've made some changes to this song because there were a few lines that were either off key or simply not very good.
It's been one week since we got to see
Cute, little Penelope saying "ookwee"
Five days since saw the arena
When Howdy and Dexter fought over Pashmina
Three days since we heard the tale
When Boss and Jingle went out to search for lost mail
Yesterday it occurred to me
That I've been watchin' a bit to much Hamtaro
Hold it now and watch Howdy
Tell a joke too Sandy
Which makes a sweat drop on her head
Oxnard eating the trail mix
Stan flirting with the hot chicks
And Snoozer's still asleep in bed
Hey, see Laura in trouble
She needs help on the double
Here come the Ham-Hams to the rescue
Cappy's hat is a sure fit
Oxnard's a bottomless pit
And Bijou's ribbons are all blue
Pepper's farm is very far
And Hamtaro is the show's star
They all exhibit adorable behavior
Howdy and Dexter begin to argue which turns into a fight
They get so violent they have to sign a waiver
They're always playing and helping every single day
"Badda-Badda" is what they would always say
They are famous from Japan to Hawaii

Hamtaro will be my favorite show for all time
If they canceled I hang myself
It's been one week since we got to experience
When the sleeping Ham-Hams entered each other's dream sequence
Five days since we heard the joke
Howdy's funny bone is certainly all broke
Three days since we got to view
A song from Sparkle and Glitter, too
Yesterday, finally dawned on me
I'm spendin' way too much time on that Hamtaro
Once you start watchin', there's just no stoppin'
You're glued to your seat and your eyes are poppin'
Hamtaro toys are plastic
He's fantastic
He puts the "ham" in hamtastic
It's as clear as a bell
That Sandy loves Maxwell
And they're all so "Schmubby-Wubby"
Jingle's poems last for hours
Marion loves her flowers
And Forrest is her hubby
If you seen the show, then you'll watch it till the end
Then you'll shout when you discover that Sabu has a bird for a girlfriend
It's such an odd couple that you're bound to make a scene
And Boss would be very sad
And also would be mad
When he can't have Bijou as his ham queen
It's certainly not your typical anime
It's the type show you can watch every single day
For their toys, I would spend every single dime
And when I get bored, I would sing "Hamtaro Time"
I have a habit of watching it constantly
My family says that I should get a life
It's been one week since we got to see
Pashmina mothering baby Penelope
Five days since we got to view
Stan flirting with Pashmina and Bijou
Three days since we got to witness
That episode where Bijou was a princess
Yesterday, it occurred to me
That I've been watchin' a bit too much Hamtaro
Couldn't help but watch more Hamtaro
I can't resist but watch more Hamtaro
I'm going out to get a nice crispy taco
