I've never been one for drabbles but I am really enjoying how quick the stories come when presented with a challenge from the Facebook groups. This was a Mini-saga Monday challenge from Harmony & Co. The challenge was 100 words or less and had to include both Harry and Hermione. My work is 99 words and includes Harry with Hermione and Severus as a scene from my drabble last week. I hope that you enjoy it.
One Moment
"Do you think that you could someday care for us, the way that we have come to care for you?" asked Harry, his luminous green eyes staring intently at the man before him.
Looking at the two people that had stood by his side through illness and trials he was amazed. They had never left him as much as he had ranted and raged at them to just let him be, let him die, let him go.
Seeing the love in their eyes and acceptance in the touch of their hands, he responded the only way he could.
"Yes".
