Prologue

The last thing I heard was all aboard. Then just like that my home and

friends were gone behind a blanket of white smoke. I used to live in London England, but then everything changed on April 16 1912, It was a normal day, just like any other, my Sister's Jane and Alyssa and I were at school when the fire broke out at our house, all of the slaves got out but the fire started in our parents bedroom unfourntately our parents didn't make it out before the roof collapsed and windows exploded. Now my siblings and I are off to live at Downton abbey with our grandmother Mary, who is the lady ships maid.

Chapter 1

The Arrival

As we arrive at the 9th station I grab my sibling's hand and quickly grab our stuff and step off the train and maneuver our way to our grandma's waiting arms "hello darling's, you've all grown since the last time I saw you. Now, hurry we mustn't be late." our grandmother says as she hurries us to the car. As the car started moving so does our new life as ladies in waiting for the three daughters of the lord and lady of Downton abbey, "The three ladies you will be looking after, are Lady Isabelle (The oldest), Lady Elizabeth, and lady Anna (the youngest)." our grandmother says, looking at us one at a time, "now, Jackie since you are the oldest you will be serving lady Isabelle, Jane you will be serving lady Elizabeth and Alyssa you will be serving Lady Anna." And just like that our life went from extravagant and Rich to Undying Servitude and poverty. As we arrive at Downton Abbey manor we were greeted by our new working family, and the family we were to be serving for life. As I stepped out of the car grandma Mary introduced us to Lord Pimbleton and Lady Pimbleton and there three daughters Isabelle, Elizabeth and Anna. "welcome girls I hope you find your stay at Downton abbey comfortable and relaxing" lady Pimbleton said with a heart warming smile. "thank You" I said back "yeah that is until we put them to work" lady Isabelle whispered to lady Elizabeth. "Isabelle, Elizabeth Rooms now" Lady Pimbleton said harshly "yes mum" both girls said in unison as they left the garden and went up to there rooms. "I'm terribly sorry, my daughters don't usually act like that there usually quite quiet." Lady Pimbleton says then walks away to talk to her daughters.
