Summary: Ryuk's reasons and thoughts of all the things he does. They're so simple they're scary. ( Note this is read in a child-like tone.)
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Ryuk liked apples. He liked them alot. He also liked Raito. He liked Raito alot. Ryuk especially liked Kira. He loved Kira alot. He also liked L. But only because he was lots of fun. Ryuk really liked the corpses that littered the streets, following Kira and L's play.
---------
Ryuk likes lots of things as you can plainly see. Ryuk likes most things in the human world. They're so lively, amusing, and most importantly: juicey. Ryuk loves juicey things. Apples are juicey. Raito is juicey. Kira is very juicey. L is very sweet, but still juicey.
---------
Nothing is juicey in the Shinigami worl. Everything is dry and desolate, and filled with bones. The only things to do there is either gamble or kill some humans. One word: Boring!
---------
Dropping his Deathnote was his best idea ever in Ryuk's mind. He got juicey things that amuzed him, All sorts of new toys, and freedom from boredom. And as an extra bonus, the human who picked up his note (Raito/Kira) was an intelligent mastermind. Sure, the kid was a little weird, thinking og himself as a god. But that was okay, because this amused Ryuk.
---------
Raito was much more amuzing than his fellow shinigami. They just sat around and always gambled. Raito didn't gamble with old, dry coins or craked, dusty bones. No he gambled with lives and puzzles and names, even his own. Now, that was much more fun. And then L joined the game and the gambling turned into something much more. A game of cat and mouse. Ryuk never did figure out who was the mouse...
-------
They had been the perfect toys, Raito and L. They always squabbled, trying to outsmart the other and win the baltte of sorts. So fun. Yes. Ryuk liked them very much. Ryuk liked the human world very much. Which is why Ryuk was quite dissapointed when L died. It wasn't as fun. It was to easy for Kira. It was still amusing, yes, the boy who replaced L was funny. N. N was funny. He played with toys just like Ryuk played with humans. He was juicey too.
A little to juicey for Raito. N "unmasked" Kira to reveal Raito. Yes. Nice and juicey. Ryuk liked how Raito ran away from N, his face split in a crazed grin.
Insane.
Amuzing.
Ryuk was dissapointed that Kira was gone, but Raito would have twenty years of life in prison. That would be no fun. Raito would end up ike all the other shinigami: boring. So, Ryuk wrote Raito's name into his deathnote. Raito died upon the stairs.
------
Now Ryuk is no longer bound to the human world by having a human possess his note. Ryuk douesn't like that at all. The shinigami world isn't fun or juicey at all. The human world is.
hmmmm, which human would be a good replacement for Kira?
The new human could play with N and they could litter the ground with corpses too.
That would be fun...
