Hey guys, this is a Brunetteshipping (May and Gary) poem wirtten for Judgement on SPPf as his/her Secret Santa gift.

There are specific stanzas... I couldn't figure out how to get the spaces in between them though, so if one of you readers knows how, can you mention it in your review? It'd be much appreciated.

Seven – A Brunetteshipping Poem

She was just a girl,

A woman in the making,

On her way to greatness.

Then he showed up.

He was a man,

A boy on the inside,

Searching for what was missing.

Then he saw her.

She looked across the room and saw

A glimpse

Of spiky chestnut hair.

Her heart flared.

He caught her

Staring.

He looked into her eyes.

Like Oceans.

She frowned.

She'd been hurt

Too

Many

Times.

He sighed.

He'd hurt women

More times than he could

Count.

One

Two

Three

Four

Five

Six times her heart had shattered by boys.

One

Two

Three

Four

Five

Six times he'd broken woman's heart.

But what could one more time do?

Seven's

The

Lucky

Number…

Right?

Right.

They met by the punchbowl.

She tried being icy and

Cold-hearted.

He tried showing her the

Tender side of him no one

Knew existed.

They looked up.

Mistletoe.

How cliché.

He leaned in

Grabbed her chin.

She pulled away

Scared of the complications.

He kissed her,

Melted her heart.

The taste of strawberries lingered.

He knew he was hooked.

Four years,

Five weeks,

Six break ups.

Seven make ups.

And they were together.

Forever.

Maple and Oak.
