This winter, Yurnero the Juggernaut met Lyralei the Windranger in a secluded area.
Lyralei gasped in outrage. "You're breaking up with me!?"
"I'm sorry. But it's for the best." Yurnero humbly said.
"But why? Why!?"
"... The problem is not you but me. The fault is in me. To pursue this relationship is too unfair for you."
Yurnero's answer made Lyralei furious. "That's not enough! There must be a more reasonable answer than that lame excuse!" Yurnero remained silent, making Lyralei getting more furious that made her cry. "Why!? Why are you breaking up with me!?"
Yurnero looked above him as he noticed snow began to fall slowly. Lyralei looked up too, then realization dawned upon her.
"You still love her, don't you?" Lyralei sadly said as she looked at Yurnero. "All this time, she's been in your heart... even when she's gone."
"... Yes." Yurnero honestly answered as he continued to watch the falling snow. "And I love her still." he looked at her now and said in a serious tone. "This is why we need to break up... I need time to get over this grief so I won't consider you as a replacement. Do you understand?"
Lyralei wiped her tears. "Yeah, I do. And it hurts!"
"I know and I'm sorry... I need to get away from you for now on... But I'll come back once this pain for her lose is gone forever... Are you willing to wait for me?"
Lyralei slowly nodded her head, not wanting to speak again because she might burst into tears again.
Yurnero bowed his head. "Thank you for understanding... I will leave now. Farewell, Windranger."
"Bye, Juggernaut."
Yurnero nodded and turned his back to Lyralei, and left her standing all alone as the snow continued to fall.
"... I'll be waiting, even if it takes a hundred years..." Lyralei said softly as she watched Yurnero walking away from her.
