Jack and the Beanstack Chapter 1

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Jack.

He and his mother were so poor; they had to sell magic milk for a living.

"Turns anything into gold!" the sales pitch said.

Then Jack traded the cow for a pig that ate magic beans.

Jack proceeded to sell the pig to another pig in exchange for 8 magic beans.

Then he ate the beans and grew a magic beanstalk in his throat.

He bought some more beans and began making a bean stack.

Jack's mother kicked him out the window for selling the cow.

"That cow was my only friend!"

"What about me?" Jack protested.

His mother only threw a can at him.

Jack then became rich by being a clown at a circus and bought even more beans.

Then he became poor again.

But he kept building his bean stack.

Soon, the bean stack was as high as the clouds!

Jack used his expert climbing skills and managed to get to the top of one of the clouds.

On it was a large castle.

The sign said: "Do not enter!"

So, Jack decided to enter.

He soon came to two items: A bag of baked soda cans and a basket of magic golden eggs that could duplicate themselves.

Since Jack was so smart, he switched the bags around so the traps became disabled.

Then he grabbed the bag with the golden eggs and started walking out the door.

"Fee-fi-fo-fum I smell the stench of a boy who won't take a bath for years to come! I will now eat him!"

Jack slowly turned around and found a golden hen!

"What?" asked Jack. "I thought there was supposed to be an ogre."

"The ogre is in Hawaii on vacation. I'm supposed to take over while he's gone."

"Oh." Jack responded. "Can I kidnap you and sell you for 10 beans?"

"Of course not!" the hen said angrily. "You can't kidnap me! I'm supposed to eat you!"

"Fine," Jack then used his grenade launcher and blasted the hen off the cloud.

"Noooooooooooooooooo!" shouted the hen as it fell.

"Hooray!" cheered Jack. "Now I'm rich again!"

Then he set off to spend his newly found riches.

When he finally floated down to the ground, the Ogre was back from his vacation.
