A/N: I was inspired to write this after researching about the tragic death of Brian Deneke. A 19 year old punk who was run over only for being who he was in front an IHOP. He died in his brothers arms, on December 12th 1997. Nicknamed 'Sunshine' at home. There are many songs from the punk community dedicated to him, which I will list at the end. It's short, might be a piece of shit, but it's written for a good reason.
Duncan in the place of Jason Deneke; Brian's brother. First person.

"I'm a ninja in a caddy"
A darkened figure, a mass confusion…
"I'm a ninja in a caddy"
Chains, sticks, bats are flying,
There's no way that can be…
"I'm a ninja in a caddy"
Car tires squeal into life and starts speeding backwards,
Closer and closer, everyone runs out of the way,
Everyone but…
"I'll bet he liked that"
Running, running as fast as we can
Hearts beating to only one thing,
'Brian, Brian, Brian'
I swear to God I'm not crying
"I'll bet he liked that"
No way that's my brother, it can't be
He's speaking, he's speaking but blood keeps coming
Why won't it stop coming?
(It'll be okay, it'll be okay)
Oh God Brian, don't close your eyes
"I'll bet he liked that"
There's crying, confusion, I blocked it all out
My brother, 19 years old died in my arms
That's not long enough, he was too long
Defence attorneys blame him because he was different
A jock, an asshole. A sicko couldn't have done it
They hold up his shirt
"Fight our oppressors, not each other"
Oh God Brian…Oh God Sunshine…
