Such A Tease

He
stared.
Twin ponytails lay undone. A golden waterfall cascaded down smooth brown shoulders, obscuring the usually naked nape of her strong, proud neck. Regal blue eyes, imperiously set, deigned to glance at the lowly mortal astride this goddess' chosen path.
"Oh.
Hillshire."
Her
voice was silky soft and honey smooth, hinting of headstrong
recklessness, laced with worldly wisdom, very familiar. His was
loaded with disbelief.
"Triela?
Is that you?"
"Obviously."
"What's with your hair?"
"Hmm? Oh, this? I just wanted to let it down for a while. It's an experiment."
"Is... is that so?"
"Yeah. Do you like it?"
"Ah... yes."
"That's nice to hear. Say, Hillshire, do we have a mission or anything today?"
"Uh, no. Nothing's up right now."
"Okay. I'm off to my room, then."
"All right. Take care."
She
sashayed down the corridor. He'd never noticed the sway in her gait
before. But there it was now. Must be the blue dress and pumps
she's wearing.
And what's with "naked"? I need better command of adjectives. Some English teacher I am.
Absently
Hillshire wondered if he should increase Triela's conditioning or
something.
"Triela?
When are you going to stop teasing Hillshire and grow up?"
"Never, my dear Claes. Never."
