Chapter 1
The Meeting Of Friends
Me and Vak met at the Fringe in the Shivering Isles. He was the one who helped me defeat the gatekeeper. He had the tear poisoned dagger and I had the bone arrows. It took a while to defeat him, but it was totally worth it. We traveled through Mania encountering many creatures. The hardest was the skinned hound. We eventually made it to Shoagorth's Palace. There we met Lord Shoagorth sitting in his throne. "You made it passed the gatekeeper I see." He said and chuckled. "It was not an easy task, why have you summoned us here?" We asked. I need your help." he replied. "YOU NEED OUR HELP, THIS IS YOUR GODDAMN REALM." I screamed. "We left our lives for this, the least you can do is have a better reason." Vak said. "Please calm down gentlemen." requested Haskill (Shoagorath's assistant). After everyone was calmed down we discussed it and we agreed to help.
First he sent us on a mission to reactivate Xalian, his only defense left. So we traveled there hoping to find people waiting for us, but alas there were Grumite warriors waiting. Each group had their own leader who had stolen the power source of the castle. We gathered all the crystals except one. When we went for the last one the grumite witch started firing spells at us. "BOOM". One of the spells hit Vak right in the chest. It severely damaged him. I shot one last snowball spell which killed it. I carried him in till we found the leader of the castle. He healed Vak. We finished our mission and returned to Lord Shoagorath. "I am pleased with your success gents." "Vak show him some respect." I told him. "Are you ready for your next mission." "You bet."
"This mission is particularly important." said Lord Shoagorath. "You have to go to the Isle Of Flame for the Flame of Agron." "We understand." When we got there a war was going on between the Dark Seducers and The Golden Saints. They told us we had to pick a side in which to aid . We chose the Dark Seducers. We went inside and helped them defeat the Golden Saints. As we came out a giant flame was lit in the courtyard. The commander told us in order to capture the flame we had to walk into it. As we did we were lit with greenish fire "This is so weird it doesn't hurt." said Vak. "I know." I said back to him. We got back to the Accuml-Asum and stepped into the fire pit. "FWOOSH" The fire suddenly lit. "Good work Michael."
Said Lord Shoagorth. "Thanks!" I replied.
The next mission he assigned was to gain favor with his citizens. He gave us a choice either to become the Duke of Mania or the Duke of Dementia. I automatically chose to kill Sly the Duchess of Dementia. "I respect your decision." said Lord Shoagorth. I leaned over to Vak and whispered "Sucks to be that crazy bitch". The goal was to get her heart and bring it back to the Accuml-Asum to perform the Ascension Ritual. We chased here back and forth to different places until we finally found her in a underground ruin and fought till she was killed . They performed the ritual and since I was the oldest I received the ring of Lordship which gave me 8% chameleon. "Your next mission will harder than the three before are you sure your ready?" asked Shoagorth. "We hope so." we said
