Prologue
Eriol was in deep thought. There was a time when he had no problem replying his housemates- Ruby and Spinel- about his motives even if his motive was something different from what he described them. The invitation card was still in his hand. It's been a week he and his sub ordinates came back to Japan.
"So, are you going to Daidouji residence, master?", Spinel asked carefully.
"How did she know we are in Japan, Eriol? We thought no one knew about our return here. YOU asked us not to tell ANYONE!", Ruby's voice was very demanding.
It's true he forbade them to tell anyone. But, it's also true that he hid the fact he met the Daidouji heir two days after returning. Why did he hide that? Oh! He was not sure about that either.
The encounter with Tomoyo Daidouji was a pure luck, no, he could not claim that. It was 50% luck and 50% deliberate on his part.
…
"Hiragizawa-san!"
She was clearly surprised to see her former classmate in front of her.
Her surprised face soon formed a beautiful smile that somehow had the power to bring smile on his face. "Long time no see, dear Daidouji-san. I see you have become more beautiful with time.", he spoke.
"And, I see, you haven't stop being a gentleman.", she replied.
…
It's been three years since Kaho Mizuki left Eriol. Reason – Kaho didn't fall for him. All his effort, his dedication, his love wasn't enough for Kaho to stay. According to her, love can't be forced upon anyone and what he felt was not true love.
"It's been three years, master's bringing a girl home, ne suppi?" Ruby said excitedly while icing a giant cake.
"Don't mess it up by your antics and DON'T call me that," Spinel replied eyeing the cake.
…..
Tomoyo was surprised again by the invitation that the caller offered her over phone. Initially, she was surprised that Eriol agreed to her plea to be her accompanist for Sakura's birthday party. Now he was offering her to practice her singing in his mansion.
"Yes, Hiragizawa-kun! I understand.", smile was visible in her lips.
How long it had been since she visited that mansion, she forgot. Looking at the mansion, she was reminded of the past and an unknown excitement made her heart racing faster. Sakura told her about what happened between Mizuki sensei and him.
"Past may not be pleasant for everyone." she thought entering the gate that opened magically.
Practice was long done. Tomoyo was wandering around the library.
"Have you read all the books, Hiragizawa-kun?", Tomoyo queried.
"I thought we decided to go by our first name basis, Tomoyo-san. And, to ans your question, yes, I have.", Eriol replied fixing his glasses. Tomoyo felt sudden heat on her cheeks hearing her name. Somehow, she managed to say, "Good Lord! You sure had plenty of time."
In order to hide her blushing face, she started to look at the book selves. A title of a book made her stop googling here and there.
"Violet Rose!" turning her face to Eriol she further said, "What sort of book is this, Eriol-san?"
Eriol was looking at her then smiling gently he replied, "It's not a normal book, dear Tomoyo san. It contains writer's memory of a certain person who was named Violet Rose. If you want to read it, I can give it to you later". He was grinning.
"Ah. I see. I would love to read it sometime.", Tomoyo said smiling.

'You see; time can't be defined by any magic as it is the greatest magic of all. Time brings people together. As our soul never dies only it's vessel does.'
