A/N: This is just a little short story that came to me in a dream. I know so Twilight, huh. Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I, as much as I wish on stars, do not own PJO!
Persephone went too far, that's what happened.
Everything was normal in the Underworld, but Persephone and Nico were in a fight that was getting intense. Hades was getting a headache and would not take much more of it. "Crazy woman, stop turning me into a daisy," Nico shouted. "Well, then stop annoying me," Persephone shouted back. "Now, why would I do that? It's too much fun," Nico smirked. "You dumb child, you should be dead along with your STUPID mother and IDIOTIC sister! I was happy when they were killed," Persephone shouted back.
The room seemed to grow colder. The entire Queen of the Underworld's plants died. "What. Did. You. Say," Nico snarled. He looked to his father for support but the lord of the dead went to Persephone's side and said, "Son, do not anger your step mother. She is right." As soon as the words left his mouth, he regretted it. Nico's mouth fell open and then his eyes were filled with pain, sadness, and betrayal. The boy didn't even speak; he ran out, went to his room and locked the door.
Suddenly, Demeter flashed into the throne room."What do you want, woman. I did not do anything to your daughter," Hades exclaimed." I have come to say that you have made a big mistake and that you, Persephone went too far this time," she said and then left as quickly as she came.
Hades went to go see Nico but when he knocked on the door, it was open. He went into the room but there was nothing there. He saw that everything was gone, and there was a note on the bed that simply said Goodbye. Hades shadow traveled to where he thought Nico was and sure enough there he was. Just as he was going to emerge from the shadows, he saw that Nico was not alone. There was Percy Jackson and Thalia Grace with him. He listened in to their conversation.
"Don't cry, Nico. I'm sure everything will be fine," Percy said. "She said things about my mom and sister," Nico mumbled."Don't worry. You'll be the emo death boy we know and love in no time," Thalia said teasingly. When he didn't respond, the cousins shared a concerned look."Let's go get some of my mom's blue cookies," Percy exclaimed. Nico brightened and nodded his head. All three cousins left together.
Months passed and Hades didn't hear from Nico or see him. He grew more depressed and when he was called to Olympus, he did not speak or even bicker with his brothers. When he found out that Nico was missing, it hit him hard and all he could think was how much he wished Persephone hadn't gone too far.
A/N: That was sad anyhow read and review because I love them!
Adios for now, my friends!
