The afternoon was a sunny, clear day in magnolia. But to a particular blonde stunner it could be the most depressing, overcast day of the decade for all she cared. Tears falling from her mahogany coloured eyes down a gorgeous face as she ran through the town she called home
XXXflashbackXXX
Lucy walked into the Fairy Tail Guildhall with the typical stunning smile on her face as she stepped into her true home. A smile that soon fell as she overheard Natsu say
Lucy is really weak you know, she can't fight at all and her spirits are the weakest things I've ever seen, I mean seriously, why is she even a mage? "None too quietly she might add.
But the real heartbreaker was when Erza remarked with
"Yes this is true, Lucy is weak and hardly worth being a part of any Guild let alone Fairy Tail. She's foolish, naive and has an over inflated image of herself, I mean we haven't gone on a job with her since her appalling performance at the GMG."
After that illuminating speech, Lucy strode through the rest of the angry Guild surrounding Natsu and Erza (Grey wasn't present fortunately, Lucy didn't want to think about how she would feel if Grey felt the same as the other members of team Natsu seemed to feel ) and remarked with all the strength, dignity and poise that her higher-clas upbringing bestowed on her
"really, well if you didn't want me n your team ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS SAY SO". And with that Lucy turned and fled the Guild hall leaving behind a now equally dumfounded as well as furious Guild and a strangly estatic Natsu and Erza
XxxEND FLASHBACKxxx
Lucy tripped over a protruding tree root bringing her long distancing sprint to a grinding halt, as she picked herself of the forest ground she hobbled towards a nearby oak tree. As she leaned against the tree, she let the overwhelming sadness show on her face, tears cascaded down her face as she completely fell apart; sobbing, crying, and wailing. Not even noticing two pairs of arms encircling her and providing silent comfort until she had completely cried out her pain. The trio sat there under the oak tree as she finally succumbed to a truly peaceful sleep.
