Hello all! I was hoping someone would do this idea, but so far no one has. Although it's only been about two hours since the new episode so maybe someone else will, and most definitely will do it better. I have no intention of making this any longer than a one-shot so if anyone wants to take the idea, please let me know. As long as I get some kind of partial credit (such as "Based on a story by tiffspiff") then be my guest. So please, enjoy this until that other great story comes along!

Spencer had listened to Carly go on and on about how Sam and Freddie had kissed. Again. He thought back to the last time he found out about them. Carly had been in the same state she is in now, pacing and working herself into a frenzy. He had played the role of "listening Big Brother" well then too. Normally he wouldn't have to play being a good brother, but his emotions were ripping through his body, begging to be let out so much, that he had to concentrate on not letting them show through. The last thing Carly needed at that moment was to deal with his own pain and confusion.

Finding out that Sam and Freddie had kissed hurt him, and had he just been their best friend's brother and also their friend, it shouldn't have. However, that wasn't just who he was. He was also romantically linked to Sam. She had always had a little crush on him growing up, but there came a time when he returned the feeling. They had been secretly seeing each other for months and finding out about her kissing someone else crushed him. Later when he confronted Sam about it, she told him time and time again that the kiss was in the past. He believed her.

Eventually after months of fights about how they should come clean to their friends and the age difference, they broke up. He knew it was for the best, but he couldn't help the fact that he still loved her. Now as he watched Carly pace the room for the hundredth time, muttering about how they had kissed again, he had to play the role of "listening Big Brother" again. Just like last time, his emotions were trying to break his control. He was hurt and felt cheated; however, this time, he had no right to. He and Sam were no longer together. So he shouldn't feel this way, right? This thought circled his mind for the next couple of days.

He had managed to hide his feelings from everyone as they tried to get Sam out of Troubled Waters Mental Institution. No one suspected anything, not even her. It drove him crazy to hear all those people saying that Sam and Freddie were "cute", and that they needed to be together. He disagreed completely. Sam didn't need to be with Freddie. She needed to be with him. It was then, sitting on the side lines while they did iCarly, that he realized he needed her back. She couldn't be with Freddie. But how did he go about doing this? He couldn't just admit he still loved her in front of all these people. Could he? No he couldn't. Freddie grabbed the camera, which pulled Spencer out of his thoughts. He listened to what was sounding like Freddie about to say no to the relationship. Could Spencer be that lucky? No, he couldn't. As he watched Freddie kiss Sam, he knew his chance was over. He looked down at the floor to avoid anyone seeing his pained expression. It was over. He had lost her…or had he? He smirked as he lifted his gaze to the new young couple.
