Why?

I'm starting to ask myself why. Why do I stay with you?

When you always are finding fault in what I do?

Should I leave?

No, I can't.

You won't let me leave and I know this for a fact.

You don't even have to tell me.

I, don't need to hear you speak.

I know you better than your own mother.

Why do you act like a five year old?

You are fourteen for god sakes.

You stole something from me.

That men loved in me.

My eyes. My beautiful violet eyes.

Men flocked too me when I entered the market.

Now, they all stare at me.

As, if I was the monster who destroyed my beautiful face.

I hate to go shopping for food now.

They stare at me, as if I was a new animal in a zoo.

Men loved me.

My question for you, my highness.

Is, were you afraid Claude would soon fall in love with me too?

- Hannah

Hannah stood up from the table and walked up the staircase. A sigh escaped her breathe, Her almost white hair was covering her left eye now. Hannah was tired of being kicked around by her master.

Enough is enough. He will listen to me. Thought Hannah, with her fists balled tightly. When she finally made it too the top of the stairs. She heard a cheerful voice. Oh, so Claude's with him? She thought with a smirk forming on her lips.

Everybody in the household knew for a fact. Whenever, Claude was around. Alois, was always the first one by his side.

This angered Hannah badly. No one was allowed near the precious Claude. Alois acted as if she owned him.

As, soon as Hannah touched the last step. She stopped.

What if Alois hurt me again? She bit her lip and ran down the stairs. Tears flooding her face, she started a fire in the fireplace and touched her bosom. She whispered No one will ever listen to me…Her hands slowly began to loosen up on the paper. Then finally her fingers, until the wind made the letter blow into the fire. Her letter was now forever erased from existence.

She turned around to see Claude. She stepped back. "Claude.." she said in almost a whisper. He bowed lightly and tilted his head, his raven black hair tilting to the left. "Hannah, I'll listen to you. Always. That is a promise."

A, single tear escaped her right eye and then everything went blank.

Claude had laid her on her bed, he then leaned down kissing her soft warm lips.

Hannah was able to sleep peacefully that night.

She finally had someone to listen to her.
