Chapter 1: Save The Date

"Mai Valentine, will you marry me"? Joey Wheeler asked on one knee. "Oh, Joey, a million times yes" Mai replied as threw her arms around the golden haired duelist.
Yugi and Tristan were hiding in the bushes congratulating him and taking pictures of the romantic moment. When Mai released Joey from her tight embrace, she
looked over at the bushes"I know you two are hiding in the bushes". Mai called to them. Yugi and Tristan came out of the bushes where they were hiding looking
Mai just smiled at the two. "I don't care, I'm with the man I love, I want everyone to know that" Mai smiled at Joey "I agree with ya Mai,
everyone should know out love story". Joey replied in return giving her a big kiss. "If you two lovebirds are done, I would like to get back to my work" came the
sadistic voice of Seto Kaiba, he wasn't much into romance but secretly he was happy for Joey. However Tea was no where to be found. "has anyone seen Tea" Joey
asked. they all shook their head. They each tried to call Tea but to no avail. "I wish that she was here to see this" Mai commented. "Don't worry" Joey said as he
comforted his future fiancé. Tea however had just left for Egypt to study abroad and study to become an instructor in Egyptian history, she was going to stay with
Marik, Ishizu, and Odion in her time there and had already made arrangements with them. She knew about the marriage proposal by accidently eavesdropping in on
Joey's conversation with his sister. She had left a note with Yugi's grandpa explaining where she went. she knew that it would make her friends sad and she didn't
want that to be the last faces she saw for 5 months. Later that night, Yugi's grandpa gave the crew the letter that Tea had left with him. It said "Dear my friends, I
am writing to tell you goodbye for awhile, it was too hard for me to say goodbye in person. I am going to go to Egypt for 5 months, to study to become an instructor
in the ancient Egyptian history. I will be staying with the Ishtar's in my time there so do worry about me. I will be back in time for Joey and Mai's wedding
(yes I already know they're getting married) I will anxiously await that day -your friend Tea" They all looked a little sad, but went there separate ways that night
knowing that they would see their dear friend again. Only Mai and Joey were left. "Well hon looks like we got a lot of planning to do" Mai addressed him. "Yeah, I
know, but I get to be with you in the end so it's worth the wait" Joey replied. They shared a long kiss before going their separate ways for the night. They could not
wait for the big day to come...…..
