Lucy knew this was a bad idea, yet she hadn't stopped him. He just seemed too excited about the prospect of them going on vacation that she didn't have the heart to tell him that maybe a cruise wouldn't be the best vacation. He had been alright whenever he had the medicine Wendy had given them before they left for what should have been their honeymoon, but then it wore off and he was slung over the side of the ship. Lucy felt bad. She knew how much he wanted to have fun, wanted to spend time with her and do things together as Mr. and Mrs. Dragneel. That's why she stayed with him, even though he told her to go have fun. Now, they had reached the island they were going to visit and got off the boat.

"LAND, SWEET LAND!" Natsu exclaimed as he hugged the ground. Lucy chuckled.

"I still don't see why you wanted to go on a cruise," Lucy told him.

"You said you wanted to see Bermuda."

"Well, yeah, but we could've flown. That would've been less painful that a week-long cruise," Lucy reasoned.

"But, I loved seeing your face when you saw that sea turtle off the side of the ship."

"You mean the one you almost threw up on?"

"Let's forget about that part."

"Alright," Lucy said as she kissed his cheek, "Where to?"

"How about the beach?"

"Aren't you tired of looking at the ocean?"

"Lucy, I don't look at the ocean, I empty my stomach into it," Natsu deadpanned.

"Fair enough."

The new couple went to the beach and spent the whole day there. Lucy ended up getting a terrible sunburn. During the journey, Lucy was having trouble sleeping. She couldn't move without being in pain. In the middle of the night, Natsu's medicine wore off and he ran to the bathroom. Lucy started laughing hysterically.

"What's so funny?" Natsu groaned from the small en suite.

"Us."

"What about us?"

"I'm in sunburned and you're seasick. We make quite the pair," she giggled.

Natsu sobered up and stuck his head out the doorway, "Wouldn't have it any other way." After he finished saying that, his seasickness came back full force.

"Hey, Natsu?"

"Yeaaaaaah?" Natsu groaned.

"I love you."

"I love you, too, Mrs. Dragneel."

They may not have had the perfect honeymoon, but they wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
