Grassroot Town, a place where dreams began, and sanity is questioned. It signified the beginning of your adventure in the Pokemon Mystery Universe. Your first conversation, your first successful barter, your first love. Grassroot Town represented a place of firsts, and today was no exception.

ArtMax, the first level 100 in PMU 7 sat in Grassroot Town contemplating his miserable existence all while challenging any, and every view put forward to him. Today he sat there with his level 100 Mienshao believing that he's the absolute dog's bollocks, because he has a sense of superiority in a child's video game. But something caught his eye – The return of an old friend. Alex_Dono.

Friend might be an optimistic description of Art's perception of Alex, colleague may be more suitable. They teamed up to make sure PMU was consistently turmoiled by an aristocratic elite, all of which are sad adults which have minimal aspirations in life. But whether he was a friend or not, Alex caught Art's attention.

"Whattup nerd?" Shouted Alex across the Kangaskhan storage to Art, who resided in his usual spot. "You been up to much?"

In this instance Art froze. He was unable to respond in the cool, aloof manner that he usually upheld. Instead, he spluttered and spat, not resulting in any words.

"Hmppph" Art muttered. He proceeded to burn up like a forest fire – A steady wave of crimson plastering his face. "Alex.. Umm, nice to see you… man." He finally muttered out.

"Hey man, you okay? You seem a little… Off."

"I'm perfectly fine, I was just distracted." ArtMax quipped, still red in the face.

"If you say so man." Alex retorted, a cheeky grin on his face.

Perfectly fine? There are more lies in that one phrase than there were in Cinder's gender scandal, and that had quite a few. [rip Levy's gf 2k13-2k14] Art was anything but fine. He was plagued by a vile disease, one which can destroy a whole nation. This disease? It's love. However, he didn't dare admit this love, lest anyone else finding out. His highly revered status on this child's game was crucial, and it couldn't be fractured by something as a menial as love.

But for once in his life, he couldn't deny his shortcomings with smarm and ignorance. This love was a plague, one which had fully taken over Art's being. He had to solve this problem, before it resulted in humiliation, or worse, actual human interaction.
