Chapter 1: 'Dream' Of Destiny
It would've been a beautiful sunshine morning for Taichi "Tai" Kamiya if it wasn't for the fact that he'd just found out that his cute innocent little sister, Hikari "Kari" Kamiya, is DATING a BOY right now!
[Tai is a 17 years old teen. Even though he may not look like that right now, he is actually a very easy-going and adventures person. He tends to act impulsively and rush without realizing the consequences of his actions. However, his charisma and strong confidence make him a great person. A lot of people are looking up to him.]
`How could this be? She's only 14, and how did I not notice this! ME, THE Tai!´ Tai sighed, and of all people, it was THIS person! He couldn't get mad at him, no matter what, but it was just too early! Ok, maybe it was just his brotherly nature of protecting his cute little sister from everything, that he could hardly accept the fact, that his sister is going out with a BOY.
"Tai..." a small creature, called Agumon, looks worried at the young teen.
[Agumon is Tai's partner and a creature called; Digimon. Agumon looks like a Reptile and has an appearance of a tiny yellow/orange dinosaur. He is pretty much like his partner, kind and compassionate, but he is more playful than Tai. Though no one can deny his strength if he IS serious.]
[Digimon, short for 'Digital Monster', are mysterious lifeforms that were discovered in the Computer Network. Digimon includes almost all the creatures that reside within a parallel universe called the Digital World. There are many different species of Digimon. Agumon is one of them.]
"Tai, are you alright?" Kari asked in a worried gesture, though she didn't know why her brother is overreacting this much.
[Kari is a 14-year-old female teen and is the younger sister of Tai. She is kind and sweet by nature. Kari is very close to Tai and hero-worships him for his kindness and strength. She is also considered as the most beautiful girl in the city.]
"Well, I think he will get over it... someday," Gatomon sighed, knowing fully why Tai acted this strange.
[Gatomon, is Kari's Digimon partner, she's looking like a white Egyptian kitten. Gatomon is very close to Kari and has a strong bond with her. She often acted very maturely, though sometimes she can be very... unique.]
"G-Gatomon! It's just... Kari, you're still too young to date someone! This is even worse than all the enemies I had faced since I became a DigiDestined!"
[DigiDestined, literally Chosen Children, are children selected by benevolent beings to protect the DigitalWorld and sometimes even the Earth from evil forces. The DigitalWorld is volatile and is vulnerable to attack, and the Digimon that live there often find that they cannot defend their world on their own. Therefore, human children are recruited to defeat their enemies. Tai and Kari are one of them, defined by the possession of a DigiVice and a link to a Digimon partner, Agumon, and Gatomon in this case.]
"Honestly... I feel the same..." Kari said in a small voice, looking up to the sky with a troubled face. However, nobody in the group had heard nor noticed her sudden mood swing as Tai was still freaking out while their Digimon partners tried to calm him down.
"Kari!" Suddenly a male voice could be heard from afar.
`There he is,´ Tai sighed, turning around and watching a boy caught up to them from behind.
"T.K.," Kari made a faint smile towards him, while T.K. is beaming her with a very bright smile.
[Takeru "T.K." Takaishi is a boy in the same age as Kari and a fellow DigiDestined. He is a very cheerful and amiable person. He is very protective of his loved ones and takes his duty as a protector of the Digital World very seriously. He is rather optimistic, and always tries to keep a smile on his face.]
Sitting on T.K.'s head, is his Digimon partner, Patamon.
[Patamon is an orange small Mammal Digimon with large batwings-like ears, and is able to fly through the air by using them as large wings. He is a very playful Digimon and has a sensitive, sometimes childish personality.]
"Please...! Not in front of my eyes..!" Tai whined with a lot of frustration in his voice.
T.K. felt really guilty for him, "I'm sorry Tai, I should've asked you for your permission to date your sister."
`Why is he such a good person? If this was someone else, I would've beat him up already! NO, I WOULD'VE KILLED him!´
"Huhu~ Maybe we will become family-members, heh~ BROTHER-IN-LAW Tai?" Four additional figures behind T.K. approached the group, one of them was Tai's best friend Yamato "Matt" Ishida, also the brother of T.K.
[Matt is the older brother of T.K. and the same age as Tai. He is very laid-back and easygoing but is also a deeply caring person who will do anything for a friend. He and Tai are best friends, though they do often have a lot of humorous arguments against each other.]
"Yeah! Us too Agumon! Though... aren't we already brothers?" Gabumon excited gives a grinning Agumon a high-five-jump, but their face turned into a confusing one as they landed back to the ground.
[Gabumon is like Agumon, a Reptile Digimon, a horned fiend with the pull of a string, although it is covered by a fur pelt. He is the partner of Matt. Gabomon is at times shy and obedient, not willing to openly help unless those precious to him are harmed.]
"You.. Not funny guys..!" Tai glared at Matt and their partners. Matt couldn't hold back his smirk, it was just their history, to annoy each other, but unlike Tai, he didn't really mind that their siblings are dating each other.
"It's just a joke Tai," a girl besides Matt chuckled, it was Tai's female best friend and Matt girlfriend, Sora Takenouchi, "you should support your sister, instead of making such an unhappy face!"
[Sora, like Tai and Matt, is also 17. She is a very kind and responsible person. She is very caring and protective, with her first instinct being to try and help others in any way she can. When she feels someone needs her help, she will not turn them down, even at the cost of her own well-being.]
"'Sigh~' Don't bother Sora, they are boys after all," standing right beside Sora, was her partner Biyomon.
[Biyomon, is a pinkish Bird Digimon. She is often stubborn and her personality is brimming over with curiosity.]
Sora and Matt knew about T.K.'s feeling towards Kari pretty much from the beginning, and they also knew that T.K. has confessed to her and are very happy for him that everything works out fine.
"Like I said... not funny! I'll never let my sister marry someone at this age!" Tai shouted, trying to protect his little sister, but instead of gratitude, his cheek was grasped and pulled by his sister.
"Tai! Don't be ridiculous! I won't marry anyone now!" Kari scolded, playing along with the others.
"OWW! Kary lef ma chaak ro! Pleafffe!" Tai begged in pain, making everyone laugh at this scene.
"Haha~ Shall we go? Or we will be late for our meeting with the others, so late, that even our dear Davis, could be there before us," T.K. suggested to the group with a chuckle.
"It's been a while, that we all see each other, follow me, everyone!" Patamon started to take the lead, as he's starting to fly ahead with the speed of 1 kph, that makes you wonder, why he was given the ability to fly. The males sweatdropped to this while the females squealed from his cuteness.
Kari smiled at the group as she's looking up to the sky once again, however the smile on her face quickly faded away, `it's been about two years when we suddenly lost the connection to the DigiWorld. I wonder... if something had happened from our absence? And... I have this strange feeling lately...´
"You look worried, Kari," Tai turned to his sister, snapping her from her thoughts, "don't worry, today we will find out, why we lost the connection of our second home. I'm sure, today... today we'll be finally able to stand under the DigiWorld sky once again," he gave her a small pat on her back, finishing it with a big grin as he is speeding up and caught up with the others, who were slightly ahead.
Kari couldn't help, but smiled once again, "thank you, Tai, you've always known how to cheer me up," she is really grateful for her brother, somehow he always knew what is bothering her, but she frowned as she glanced towards to her current boyfriend T.K., who is helping his partner to speed up, "but, I wonder if you can help me with another problem I have..."
-Izumi residence-
After the revelation of Kari and T.K. dating news, the remaining DigiDestined from the group, each of them, responded with a different reaction.
Mimi Tachikawa, a year younger than Tai, was delighted of the news, spamming a lot of question towards Kari. `So that why Tai seems to be down today,´ she glanced towards him with a small grin.
[Mimi is a girl who has been pampered her entire life, and as such is rather prissy and spoiled. However, she is actually a very sweet and caring person. She is pure-hearted and honest, sometimes brutally honest, but she never means to truly harm others.]
"What.. is dating?" Palmon looked questionable up to Mimi, who's returning her gaze with a sigh and shaking head.
[Palmon is a Vegetation Digimon, she has a tropical flower blooming on its head and the partner of Mimi. She is very innocent and often doesn't know what her friends are talking about.]
Koushiro" Izzy" Izumi, the resident of their meeting place, and the same age as Mimi wasn't really interested as he tipping something on his computer, "still nothing..," he mumbled.
[Izzy is a computer expert and spends a large fraction of his time trying to figure stuff out on his laptop. He is very intelligent and knowledgeable, and often gets lost in thought while trying to figure out something new.]
"Don't you have something to say about this, partner?" Tentoman sighed at Izzy reaction, but then again, it's just his character.
[Tentomon is an Insectoid Digimon. Though he isn't as intelligent as his partner, he is still very smart. Tentomon is also more carefree and doesn't have a social awkwardness as Izzy.]
Joe Kido, the eldest of the group with the age of 18, was a bit speechless, then again, Love really wasn't his subject anyway.
[As the oldest of the group, Joe takes it upon himself to be the voice of reason and tries, often without success, to steer the other DigiDestined away from reckless action. Joe is an intelligent person and has practical knowledge far beyond most of the DigiDestined, including knowledge of first aid and astronomy. He is also extremely clumsy, and often finds himself falling on his face or dropping things.]
"Something you can learn from, Jo," Joe partner Gomamon smirked.
[Gomamon is a Sea Animal Digimon. His goal is to lighten Joe up and encourage him to be less serious, using his own disarming and fun-loving character.]
Ken Ichijouji smiled, he did notice how T.K. was attracted to Kari, though he felt bad for his best friend Davis, who had the same attraction.
[Ken is a sweet and kind person. He is polite and courteous towards others, and has a gentle spirit.]
Ken's partner, Wormmon, who is silently sitting on his shoulder.
[Wormmon, is Ken's trustfully partner, who would do anything for him.]
Cody Hida was a bit confused, he wasn't sure how he should react to this. His partner, Armadillomon is likewise confused.
[Cody, 12 years old, the youngest of the group. Despite being the youngest, Cody is the most serious, and always conducts himself with a maturity that is far beyond his years.]
[Armadillomon is a Mammal Digimon. He is very easy going nature is a sharp contrast to his partner serious personality.]
Yolei Inoue, who is one year older than Kari, widening her eyes, she didn't believe that her best friend didn't tell her about this, she decided that she needs to punish Kari later on.
[Yolei is very energetic and usually confident, although she can sometimes be embarrassed to admit her true feelings if they don't meet her standard for herself. Yolei is a touch on the geeky side, stubborn, cheeky and impulsive.]
"Uh that look on Yolei, Kari I hope you will survive that!" Hawkmon shivered with his whole body.
[Hawkmon is a bird Digimon just like Biyomon. He is a polite and very formal Digimon, very gentlemanlike. His level-headed, polite personality helps balance out the more energetic and abrasive nature of his partner, Yolei.]
Davis Motomiya, 14-year-old, was shocked by this news, but quickly calmed down as he knew that he never had a chance with her in the first place. He is actually surprised that he got over this quickly. He guesses, that this crush of his was fading over these years, but he noticed something strange in Kari's eyes, but shrugged it off, he is happy for both of them.
[Davis is a deeply caring and loving person who is extremely loyal to his friends. He refuses to give up even when all seems lost, and his infectious optimism and determination are the reasons that he is the current DigiDestined leader, succeeding the former leader Tai.]
On his lap was a sleeping Veemon, who has missed all this.
[Veemon is a 2-feet tall humanoid lizard-like creature. He is the one with the most affinity for hand-to-hand combat, due to both his attacks and his personality, which are very similar to his partner Davis.]
"Um.. Everyone.. I understand that you still have a lot of questions about T.K. and me, but I really need some fresh air," Kari said, not really focus during this sudden attention.
T.K. look worried at her, "what's wrong? Should I accompany you?"
Kari shook her head, "I'm alright, just a bit tired, I'll be back soon," with this she gave T.K. a small smile, making the crowd wooing at them, "sorry Gatomon, I really wants to be alone right now," she turned to Gatomon, who was ready to go with her.
"Alright, Kari, see you later," Gatomon accepted her request as Kari walked out of Izzy's apartment.
Tai sighed, "let her be, she's probably got tired of all the questions Mimi bombed at her," his thumbs pointing at Mimi.
"Did I gone overboard?" Mimi wondered with a sigh, "but at least the younger Kamiya is way mature than someone I know," Mimi giggled at the elder Kamiya, who responded to her with a small glare.
"Anyway, we should discuss and help Izzy, it's been already 2 years, that we lost the connection to the DigiWorld and even left our partners here in our world behind," Matt suggested, "maybe we'll have more luck today."
They all nodded and laughed, as they saw how Tai and Mimi began a glaring contest in the background.
On the roof, Kari enjoyed the calm breeze, brushing against her, but you could tell that something was bothering her.
"... Why, didn't feel this right? Was I wrong to accept his confession?" Kari whispered to herself.
Actually, she didn't love T.K. in that way, she likes him more as a family member not as a lover. Everything felt so awkward to her now, it didn't felt right... but maybe it was just her imagination, her friends were saying that they look good together all the time. They even have claimed that they knew from the beginning, that T.K. and she will become a couple in the future... not to mention, she can see how happy T.K. was when she accepted his confession. Maybe it just needs its time, for her doubts to go away, after all, they just have started to date.
Kari began to wonder, "why did I began to date T.K. in the first place, if I feel like that?"
Suddenly her head hurts and her vision became blurry, she quickly shut her eyes close. As the pain is slowly fading away she opened her eyes again, finding herself on a strange familiar grassland with beautiful flowers surrounding her and the sun shined brightly at her, `Oh yes.. Because of this...´
Kari looked around, clearly searching for something... As she has finally found what she was looking for, she ran to the direction, but stopped herself, because of a gigantic cliff in front of her prevents her from going further.
"The same 'Dream' again," Kari mumbled to herself, staring in a certain direction, "just... Who are you..?"
Who she's talking to, you wonder? Beyond the Cliff there was another landscape, however instead of the beauty on her side, there was a completely different scenery, as opposed to the sun there was this big moon in the background, rather than a grassland there was only snow covered the land, while thunder sometimes roars through the sky. It actually looks beautiful, yet terrific at the same time.
But what's really caught Kari's eyes was in the middle of all this. There was actually a human body, a boy, she could somehow conclude, sitting there like a statue. His body was covered in a long coat, only his head was free, he has messy long brown hair that covers almost all his face, she barely saw his eyes. And for some reason, he was sitting on a big broken throne.
"Was he alright?"; "Where did he come from?"; "Why was he here?"; "Why couldn't he answer to her?" Question over questions was in her mind, but then again, this is only a dream...
Though this 'Dream' somehow lasted for a month already, she didn't know why or how it's just happened. It was always the same, she was on a beautiful grassland and there was this boy on the other side. But no matter what, she can't get near to him, as a cliff separates them from each other... When she thinks about it, somehow it's just sounded so romantic to her.
She tried to get answers by shouting to him, but it was always the same, he didn't respond nor did he move an inch, as if he was a frozen statue in this place. But something about him made her heartache, somewhere in her heart she knows who he is, but at the same time, she doesn't. This is actually eating her up.
She sighed, this was also why she decided to try dating T.K., for some silly reason she'd believe that this 'Dream' may disappear, if she has another boy in her mind, but of course it didn't work and she realized that she was actually relieved that the 'Dream' didn't actually disappear. It was just strange to her and now breaking up with T.K. just like that, would be unfair to him, she didn't want to lose her best male friend.
Suddenly she got angry. "You know what? It's all your fault! Why are you appearing in MY dream? Because of you, I lied to my friends! I lied to my best friend, who believes that I love him as a lover! You...! Why do I even care? Why does it hurt so much seeing you?", she screamed her heart out, something so unlikely of her.
Kari sniffed, falling on her knees, "just who are you? Please! Just tell me at least that!"
She waited and waited, but nothing, nothing have happened. Kari smiles frustrated, failing to wipe her tears away, "just like I thought, it's import-"
"Who. are. you...?"
Kari's heart skipped, immediately lifting her head when she suddenly heard this voice echoed around her, to her shock, the boy on the other side slowly rose his head towards her. Now she's able to spot his face clearer. His left eye was covered with bandages while his right eye looked emotionless at her.
"D-Did you just s-spoke to me?" She asked, not sure if she was imagining all this.
The boy silently stares at her, which made her heart sink as if he was looking deep into her soul with this unfocus eye.
"C-Can you tell me your name..?" Kari tried once more, but his silence made her very nervous, "I guess it still no good?"
"The time has finally come," suddenly a mighty voice rang behind her, "you have finally connected."
Kari froze and hesitated to turn around, unsure of this new voice, it made her whole body shiver. For some reason, today's 'Dream' is different than usual, or more like, it's finally processed with something .. then again.. she realized something, she actually didn't go to sleep, did she? If she thought about it... she was suddenly pulled here in the middle of the day.
"Child of Light," the mighty voice continued. Taking all the courage Kari finally began to turn around and slowly she saw a giant black suited knight in front of her. She was speechless, was that a Digimon? It looks gigantic.. but this feeling is familiar? Somehow it reminds her of Omnimon, the DNA-fusion of Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon, which are the mega forms of Agumon and Gabumon.
"I truly wish... that you will find your happiness again," the mighty black Knight said, sadness could be heard in his voice, but it quickly changes to a serious tone again, "however... 'he' began his move, we are short in time, only you two can save the worlds once more."
"W-What..? What do you mean by that?" Kari was confused, what he was saying made no sense to her. Her happiness? Who began his move? And what did he mean with saving the worlds?"
"You will soon get your answers, Child of Light... It is almost time... this is also the reason why this place is finally begun to move, past, present, and even the future will be connected to each other. But first... you must meet the Child of Destiny, the King, my.. no- our fallen King," the mighty Knight said with a low voice, as he slowly faded away.
"Wait! You just can't leave now!" Kari shouted, chasing after the knight, but all of sudden, the world around her shattered like glasses, the ground below her collapsed as she fell into nothingness. She screamed, wildly grabbing the air around her, though there was nothing to grab, suddenly a shadow slowly approached her from above, somehow calming her down.
"Wh...ar...u?" A voice echoed in her ears.
Kari observed and saw the shadow, getting closer to her. As the shadow came closer it's becoming clearer, it was the silent boy of her long repeating 'Dream'. His face drew closer to her as they both falling further down together, a bit too close on Kari's sidenote, making her blush a bit, but right now, it's the first time since this dream began, that she can finally see his face, this image will be burned in her memory forever. His eye, it's looked so lifeless, his long brown hair seems to be uncut for months and his body was almost completely covered with bandages.
"What in the world just have happened to you?" This question was in her mind, as she unconsciously embraced him, wrapping her arms around his neck, letting his head to rest on her chest.
"Just, who are you...? Who are you to me? Why is my heart aching so much, just by looking at you?" Kari whispered as they both keep falling into the darkness, just the two of them, she closed her eyes as she's enjoying the embrace, it's actually made her feel safe, but all of sudden she felt wetness on her chest.
"Eh...?" was all she could mutter, loosening her wrap, so she could look at his face again. His facial was still emotionless, but tears were falling from his right eye and his mouth moved, slowly wanting to ask her something.
"Are. you. my. light.?"

...
"Kari! Kari!" someone shook her body with a worrisome voice.
"Eh..?" Kari snapped her eyes open.
"Kari! Thank goodness, I thought something has happened to you!" The voice said in a relief tone, hugging the girl tightly.
"Huh?" Kari whispered, still confuses as she was not really fully awake yet.
"It's me, Takeru," T.K. smiled, "what's happened to you? I found you lying here," he asked in a worried tone.
As Kari didn't come back for awhile T.K. decided to look for her. Gatomon was about to go with him, but T.K. assured her that they will immediately return when he found her and even let his partner Patamon behind, maybe he also just wanted some alone time with his girlfriend. However, his heart almost stopped as he found her unconscious lying on the rooftop.
Kari pushed him gently away, her heart beating crazy, "i-it's alright, I-I just needs some rest...," she said, but she noticed something, their embrace was so different than the one she had in her 'Dream', it made her feel uncomfortable, maybe it was just her guilt.
"Kari?" T.K. wondered, afraid that something like the Dark Ocean would happen again.
"Kari! T.K.! Are you both here? The DigiWorld! No I mean, Gennai! Gennai finally contact us! We finally connected with the DigiWorld again!" Suddenly their friend Yolei brutally opened the roof door, shouting out for those two.
"Huh?"
"So Gennai finally contacts us, but we should immediately return to the DigiWorld?" Gatomon asked looking worried at her partner. After Kari came back with T.K., she seems to be more absence than ever. Gatomon did notice that something is bothering Kari since a month ago, but she didn't pry it yet, it didn't seem something serious as Kari is mostly still herself and because they trust each other so much, she believes that Kari will definitively talk to her eventually.
Kari nodded, a bit tired of the day, a lot has happened in her 'Dream' and she didn't get the time to think about it nor to rest, but she's really happy that they can finally return to the DigiWorld. She knows that Gatomon is slowly suspecting something, but Kari herself isn't ready to talk with someone about her 'Dream', even though Gatomon is the closest to her, besides Tai, yes the both of them always was looking after her and always knew how to cheer her up.
"Kari...?" Gatomon lightly pulled Kari's dress, snapping her out of her thoughts, `she's even more absently than before, maybe I should ask her if something was wrong?´
"Ah..! Sorry Gatomon, did I worried you there? I was a bit lost in my thoughts, but I'm alright!" Kari assured her partner with a smile, `I should pull myself together, or I will only make my friends worry over me!´
Gatomon nodded, `she is old enough, she will definitively tell me when the time is right.´
"Is everyone here? Gennai told us to hurry up", Tai said with a concerned voice, did something happened to the DigiWorld? It's been three years of peace, it seems like Gennai was in a hurry to reach them. Everyone was looking at Tai, giving him their nod, ready for everything.
"I really hope nothing bad happened in the 2 years of our absence! Well, let's talk about this when we are there! ALRIGHT, Digi-Port! OPEN!" Tai led, as they all holding their DigiVices up, facing the big screen of Izzy's computer. A bright light surrounded the children and their Digipartners, and in just a split second, they all going through the so-called 'Digi-Port'.
[The Digi-Port is a computer program that serves as a gateway to the Digiworld. Originally only the 'second' generation of Digivice, or as they called 'D-3 Digivice', were able to open those ports, but through some events, now the 'first' generation of Digivice could also open those gates.]
"Oww.. can the one who is sitting on me, please move?" Tai groaned, lying on the ground as he couldn't stand up. But he wasn't the only one, all the other children and Digimon were also tangled with each other. This was always a problem when they transport between the worlds, but it's not like they can control their 'landings'.
"Sorry, Tai," Mimi said in a sheepish tone as she quickly moves away from him.
"Thanks.. but Mimi, did you gain wei-," before Tai could finish his sentence a big fist connected his head.
Kari was the first one to compose herself and looks around. She couldn't stop herself from smiling, they are finally back, back in this nostalgic world.
"Children!" A familiar voice could be heard, "I'm glad that the transport still works after so long."
It was their good old friend Gennai, it seems the DigiDestined were transported right in front of his front yard. But before they could greet him, he quickly invited the DigiDestined into his house.
[Gennai is a data-based human in the form of an old man who serves as the DigiDestined's guide and helped them a lot after their first major battle with Devimon.].
"Seems like we have no choice, let's go," Tai said as he is rubbing the bump on his head as they went into Gennai's cottage.
-DigiWorld, Gennai's home-
"It's really been awhile, still hurts like always," T.K. sighed, rubbing some parts of his body. The others could only agree with him as they make themselves comfy, after their terrible impact as soon as they arrived into the DigiWorld.
"So.. What's up, Gennai?" Tai asked, normally he would be more relaxed, but he could tell there is something serious as Gennai abruptly dragged them into his house.
"I have a video message," Gennai replied to Tai, as he put a cassette into a video recorder, "this is a serious matt-," Gennai stopped, as the eyes of the DigiDestined widened out of shock, `I guess, I can't blame them, but why isn't the sound on? Oh! I accidentally turned it off, here we go.´
"KYAAH! Don't touch it!... And don't FEEL it!" A familiar female voice begged.
"Your breast became bigger again, didn't they?" Another familiar female voice smirked.
"Eh...?" Gennai widened his eyes and turned his head to the screen. This video was showing a location of a hot spring, though it was mostly hazy, making it almost impossible to recognize something, however you could still tell that it was the female DigiDestined who were taking a bath in this video, as Mimi teased Kari over her body. Gennai quickly turned off the recorder, sweating with his whole digital body, "oops.. Wrong video... Hahahaha...Haha...Ha...," his laughs slowly became quieter as he could sense the dangerous black aura behind him.
".Pervert Lolicon.!" Sora said in a tone that could even make a mega-lvl-Digimon shiver.
"I see... This was the serious thing you wanted to tell us.. ? After two years! Well, thank you for that..!" Tai twitched, he didn't need THAT kind of information of his cute little sister and all the other DigiDestined (mostly the girls, Matt and T.K.) glared at Gennai.
Gennai quickly put the correct video into the recorder and a horrific laugh stopped the DigiDestined for beating him up.
"Kukuku... Well, well.. Do you know, how long I've counted the days, for our reunion? Though, three years are surely long..." a sick, twisted voice said in an amuse tone, then mumbled something small in addition, "it was 1xxx days...! No, I'm not insane that I actually counted the days, but that makes my revenge even tastier!"
"I-It can't be...! Is that Daemon...?" Yolei whispered it was a Digimon she never wanted to see again.
"Impossible! How did he escape from the Dark Ocean, we banned him forever there!" Davis shouted, disbelieving at the screen.
"Why I am here, you asked? Well... Did you really think I would be sealed in this Ocean forever? Kukuku! I promised you, that you will regret that!" Daemon replied with a smirk as if this was a live chat.
"Though, I did get a little help from my 'FRIENDS'," he sighed, clearly not happy that he was 'rescued' as the Camara zoomed out to reveals 6 different shaped shadows behind him.
"Who are they..?!" Cody shuddered, by only looking at them and his instinct made him step back.
"Not good..." Matt clenched his fist, his guts also told him that this is trouble.
"And know what?" Daemon grinned, as the camera approached the area behind him, looking like a royal throne. One of the 6 Shadow was there, it was clearly a female devil like Digimon, whose appearance is a cross between a demonic priestess and a feudal Japanese courtesan, wearing long, purple robes over a leather catsuit. Its hair is black like the demonic bat-like wings protruding from its back, its eyes are blue and its skin is seen being rather pale.
It seemed like she was sitting on someone's lap, as she smiling with a lovely face fondle with something above herself, which the camera didn't show yet.
As the Camara slowly moved up, a chained human body is slowly revealed. Kari's heart almost stopped to beat, her skin felt so cold and her brain is trying hard to progress what she's seeing right now. The female Digimon smirked at the camera as she stroked the cheek of the chained boy, his clothes tattered and his face didn't show any sign of life, he looks like a dead corpse, you could tell that his body was suffering from abuse.
Most of the DigiDestined and their DigiPartner were about to throw up, they've never seen anything like this, they couldn't describe the emotion they were feeling right now.
"A...human... boy..?" Tai widened his eyes, holding his hand over his mouth.
"H-How cruel..." Sora instantly closed her eyes, seeking comfort from her boyfriend.
"This madness...!" Matt glared, embracing his girlfriend to calm her down.
"Why...?" Mimi couldn't understand, gripping Tai's shirt to keep her balance from falling.
"I can't believe my eyes," Joe stared at the screen, this is something he never wanted to see in his life.
"Who is that..?" Izzy tried to keep calm, analyzing his memory, maybe he was a DigiDestined they had met, but this sight made it impossible for him to think.
"Nobody deserves that!" T.K. sadly pity the boy, clenching his fists in anger.
"This..." Yolei helpless looking at the monitor, she can't believe that a Digimon can be so cruel.
"..." Cody looked away, not finding the word he wanted to say.
"Was... I the same..?" Ken whispered to himself as his body stuttered, the time of him as the Digimon Emperor flashed in his memory.
"Unforgivable..." Davis gritted the anger inside him, boiled up.
"I-It can't be...?" Kari's voice cracked, it was hard for her, she almost forgot how to breathe. No matter how much she looks, it was indeed the same boy of her 'Dream'. This hair and his face are the same! She could never forget, after all, today was the first time she 'saw' him, it's definitively him! Even the bandages and wounds he had was there. However there was still some difference, his left eye isn't covered with the bandaged, it was his right eye instead and the left eye didn't have the same chocolate brown color as the one from her 'Dream', it was bloody red instead, that made her body shiver.
"This... We have the 'Child of Destiny' on our side," Daemon laughed, insanely loud, "your Worlds now belong to us! I waited for this for 1xxx freaking days! I will finally end the counting on the day when we face each other once again! Shall we go to the second round, DIGIDESTINED!?"
His laughter remained in this room as an echo, even though the monitor turned to a black blurry screen as the video was over.
Finally, back in the DigiWorld and the peaceful days are already over...?!

Hello everyone, I rewrote the story of my very first Digimon fic: "Harmony with the Light" which I already deleted.
It's been a long time that I upload something here and I regret it, I blame it on both my own laziness and the time that go away with no mercy on its mind.
Recently I've begun to read Fanfictions again and I realized that I really miss reading Fictions, and although I didn't write many stories myself, I miss to write and bringing my ideas to life. So I wanted to start afresh with Digimon. I reread the three Chapters of "Harmony with the Light!" and got a lot of new Ideas, so I've decided to completely recreate the story.
On another note, I have watched Digimon Tri and I couldn't hold the goosebumps over my body. I literally cried seeing Tai & Co. again, this also motivate me all the more.
But be warned, you probably already noticed.. my grammar is really not good. I didn't improve at all during my absence. XD
Be also beware that I'll change a lot of the canon story as a base, so be careful reading everything. This fic is about three years after the Digimon 01/02 crew banned Daemon into the Dark Ocean and defeated MaloMyotismon afterward. In those three years, they could live peacefully, because no threats came over the DigitalWorld nor to the human world, at least they thought so..
The Story will be a CrossOver between Digimon 01/02 and Digimon Frontier, inspired by Sightbent, Growlmon1, TakuyaXKari and also a lot of new Authors to share their story from my 2 or even 3 years absence here on Fanfiction.
I will try to fit the personality from the series, but they might turn to be a bit Out Of Character(OOC):
Now getting to some basic... I've changed the Canon story of Frontier and Digimon 01/02 series into my favor, there will probably some logic error, but I hope you can somehow bear with it:
1. Even though the DigiWorld may expose to the end of Digimon 02 RealWorld, let say through the power of Azulongmon and the three other Sovereign, to protect the balance between the Real- and DigitalWorld only the DigiDestined and those connect to them have all the memories of the Digimon. So the Adults and other Children who aren't related to the DigiDestined, won't remember the existence of Digimon or anything related to this.
2. The "known-group" of international DigiDestined (01 DigiVice) and the former Dark Spore Children (D-3 DigiVice) will remember the events. They may or may not appear in the story as cameos.
3. Digimon Frontier began 1 Year before Digimon 01, they're also in the same timeline and World (At first, I intend to do a multi-verse like Sightbent story, but this is a bit too much for me XD). So the Frontier-Gang were in the DigiWorld before the DigiDestined 01.
4. The Legendary Warriors began their journey with the age of 10.
5. The Adventure Children began their adventure with the age of 12(Tai) and with the age of 14(Tai) the story of 02 started.
6. The reason why the DigiWorld is different from each other, I will try to explain this as the story progress.
7. The events of Digimon Tri will and did not happened as the story progress.
