Screaming. Crying. Running. Running nowhere. The world swirls past me as I run. Where to? I don't know. I stop. I look around and take a deep breath, ready to run farther. A large shadow appears from above, I look up and he lands in front of me. He smiles a seductive yet terrifying smile and the light glints off his fangs and makes me shudder.

I turn to run the other way but he's already there. I look into his blazing eyes and see nothing but hunger. He grabs my arm and I try to pull away. He digs his nails deep into my arm and I scream in pain. He cocks his head like an animal and gives an ice cold snicker.

I tear my arm away and notice the blood pouring from where he had held. He looks down at his blood covered hand with an amused gleam in his eyes. He lifts his hand to his mouth and licks the blood away. I stand frozen in horror. He grabs my arm and slowly runs his tongue across my wound before grabbing my shoulders with strong, unmovable hands.

I stare at the beast before me and remember when we were friends. I squeeze my eyes shut tight and he plunges his fangs deep into my neck. My hands grasp his arms tightly as the pain becomes unbearable. I choke as the blood builds up in my mouth.

He lets go of me and I fall to the ground. He wipes the blood from his lips and stares blankly at me. I cough and choke on my own blood. I feel the sticky wet blood pooling around my head as it flows from my neck.

"Vampire.", I mutter as my vision starts to fade. He blinks as if he was in a trance, looks at me, and falls to his knees.

The fire in his eyes disappears. My vision grows dark and I feel warm arms wrap around my body.

Soft lips are pressed against my forehead. He whispers in my ear as a tear lands on my face, "I'm sorry…"

I hear him silently sob with his arms around me. My body goes numb and everything becomes silent.

Just a one-shot, it may become a story if I get enough time to write chapters. This is a different stlye than I usually use, I thought it'd add more effect.
Constructive critisism welcome, please no flames. Review if you liked it, if you didn't then oh well, this was just an experiment anyways. :)

Thanks for reading!
