They are so cute together it's sickening. He's casually propped up against the front of his pick-up, she is casually propped up against the front of him. They've been together so long that I can practically predict the exact moment she kisses him on his cheek and the faux-annoyed look he gives as he wipes the bright red lipstick off of his face. But that look turns into a grin and she lets out a giggle.

"Ugh, get a room, lovebirds!" I explain, hopping onto the hood of Liam's rusty truck. I get an eye roll and low chuckle from my best friend in return.

"Oh, you are so bitter," Karma twirls to face me, dress wooshing around her small frame. They even dress predictably. Her in some paisley sundress and boots, her hair in place with a silly headband that somehow looks fantastic on her. Him in plain jeans, arms bulging out of a plain V-neck, his hair a perfect mess.

I snarled and stuck my tongue out at her playfully, earning a half-hearted push to the shoulder and her mirroring my goofy face.

"Break it up, you two!" Liam joked and wrapped his arms around the tiny brunette, pulling her closer to him, eliciting a bright smile. "Where is your girl-of-the-week anyways?"

Now it is my turn to roll my eyes. He is always giving me grief, because I don't want to settle down and be in some sappy relationship like he found himself in. He used to be like me- We would go to Twain and wreak havoc. We were the perfect team. But as much as I miss my wingman, it is nice seeing him truly happy, if not glowing.

"Girl of the week?" I raised my eyebrow at him, "Where did your originality go?" I teased and Karma giggled that obnoxiously high giggle that only she could make cute. "And we decided that it was time to move on," I nonchalantly answered him, my eyes scanning the school yard.

"You mean you decided it was time to move on," He responded, almost disapprovingly.

I shot him a look to let him know that I was not amused. "Hey now, just because I don't want all of.." I pointed between the two of them and jokingly made a gagging noise, "Whatever you two have going on, does not mean you can judge. I like to bond emotionally," I then smirked, "And physically.." Cute more disapproving looks. "With many people. I'm a giver." I ended with a grin and jumped off of his truck, throwing my backpack over my shoulder.

"Amy, one day you'll find someone who makes you all lovey dovey and mushy, whether you like it or not."

I let out a sigh. Karma is relentless. She's looking at me with her eyebrow cocked and a know-it-all smirk on her lips. I can't help but let my eyes trail over her body, quickly, before shaking my head, dismissing her crazy ideas.

"Love is for suckers!" And with that, I'm off to first period, brushing off the objections they are shouting at me.
